Summer is around the corner (fingers crossed). It's time to check the expiration date on your SPF!

Protecting your skin from the sun is crucial, even on cloudy days. Sunscreen helps prevent sun damage, skin cancer, wrinkles and so much more. It is vital to use all year round.

We recommend using at least SPF 30. Sunscreens should be applied 15-30 minutes before sun exposure to allow the ingredients to fully bind to the skin. Reapplication of sunscreen is just as important as putting it on in the first place, so reapply the same amount every two hours. Keep in mind sweating and swimming causes the sunscreen to wear off even faster, so consider reapplying every hour to two hours in those conditions.

How much sunscreen do you need for proper protection? Apply 1oz (a shot glass) for your body and 1/2 a tsp for your face. Every. single. use.
