HATS is proud to announce Reese Lafournie as the chosen recipient of the adjudicators choice scholarship in Musical Theatre, sponsored by HATS! She received the award for her performance of the piece “What Baking Can Do” from the musical “Waitress.” This was in the 17 and under category
Some words from Reese:
“I’m proud to say that my biggest passion in life is to sing and perform. Because of this, I wish to continue pursuing this by taking a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Theatre at MacEwan University, with a combined degree in Secondary Education at U of A. With this, I will be able to teach what I love, and maybe even do so abroad someday! I will always continue to audition for plays and perform as often as possible outside of University as well as work.
We are looking for You!
