What it is, that we should be 'doing' it and how to do - it can be overwhelming. But what if it doesn't have to be? What if we choose to believe self-care is exactly what it needs to be for each individual?
It doesn't need to fit in a box, the only thing it 'needs' to be is right for you.

The next few weeks are a great time to reflect on the goals you set for yourself at the beginning of the year.
A great way to do this is taking the time to visualize your ideal future. Take 5 to 10 minutes and visualize 10 years from now. If 10 years feels too far, try 5 years or even 6 months. Whatever time frame feels right for you!
From there you can ask yourself these questions:
- Are the goals I set in January 2024 still resonating?
- What adjustments need to be made?
- Is there anything new to add?
- What is going to bring me closer to my future self?

Finding the right balance between work, life and leisure is key to living a fulfilling and sustainable lifestyle. Here are some strategies to help you achieve that harmony:
Learn to Say No → Don't overcommit yourself. Practice saying no to tasks or responsibilities that don't align with your priorities or values.
Unplug Regularly → Take breaks from technology to disconnect from work and reconnect with yourself and loved ones. Set aside tech-free hours so you can be in the present moment.
Prioritize Self-Care → Make self-care a non-negotiable part of your routine. Schedule time for activities that recharge your batteries!
Set Boundaries → Establish clear boundaries between work and personal life. Define specific work hours and stick to them, resisting the temptation to check emails or take calls outside of those times.
Schedule Leisure Time → Similar to how you schedule work meetings, schedule time for leisure activities. Treat this time as sacred and honour it as you would any other commitment.

We all know that managing multiple tasks can easily become overwhelming and/or stressful.
Wanna know our secret? Mindful moments.
We encourage you to incorporate these moments into your daily life, and give this breathing exercise a try the next time you’re feeling overwhelmed.
Take a few minutes to focus on your breath. Make sure that you’re sitting comfortably with your eyes closed and take slow, deep breaths - in through your nose and out through your mouth. Pay attention to the sensation of the breath entering and leaving your body, as well as the rise and fall of your chest.
This simple exercise can help promote relaxation and reduce stress 💜

It seemed fitting for this month's admin tip, we share one way you can start to slow down too.
✨ DELEGATE - DELETE - DELAY ✨
We know it's hard, but so worth it! It if isn't something you love to do or don't have time, than ask yourself these questions. Can I delegate to a team member or another business? Is it necessary, or can I let go of the task entirely? Is it a priority right now?
Now, adjust your to do list accordingly!

I took a day off. During. The. Week.
Last week, I booked a Thursday, completely off. I met my bestie at a mall and we shopped, snuggled her precious babe, sipped our fav bevies, talked, and then talked some more.
Mentally, I struggled with the days leading up to Thursday. I felt like I ‘should’ be checking in on my clients and not ‘hanging’ out with my bff. I felt guilt, even though my clients were 10000% okay with me taking the day off.
But you know what? This day was so needed. It was a day that filled my cup and my heart. As a Mama, wife, and entrepreneur, we can forget to slow down and just take a day for ourselves (yes, I said a whole damn day). You can’t pour from an empty cup.
So in case you need it, here is your permission to take a day off. Go fill your cup, in whatever way feels right to you.
