Here are some tips:

Cool Off: Before reacting impulsively, take a moment to cool down.
Reflect: Think about what exactly made you angry. It's often something that feels unfair or unreasonable.
Identify Principles: What core principles or values are being violated?
Express Yourself: Clearly explain what you believe in and why it matters.
Stand Up Creatively: Find the best and most constructive way to assertively stand up for your principles, focus on problem solving

Anger Management Tip:
Common reasons behind anger include unmet needs for love, safety, respect, control, self-acceptance, and justice. Understanding these needs can help you address the root cause of your anger.

Being assertive means expressing your needs and wants calmly and clearly, rather than getting passive or overly aggressive. Assertiveness helps you maintain control and respect in any situation.

Procrastination isn't about laziness—it's often rooted in loneliness. Here are some key insights from 'Get Out of Your Own Way':

Stop wasting time putting yourself down for procrastinating.

Avoid setting yourself up for failure with unrealistic expectations.

Find a partner or supportive friends to help you stay accountable.

Reciprocate by supporting a friend's goals.

From personal experience, I (Rebecca) always tell clients there's no such thing as laziness. Identify what's blocking you and seek accountability. For the past two weeks, I've been texting a friend every morning to help her stay on track with her weight loss goals. This support has made a significant difference in her progress.

Back in October, after taking an ADHD course, I (Rebecca) realized that I had some symptoms of ADHD: easily distracted, overwhelmed with ideas, and struggling to finish projects. In November, I started doing daily balance exercises to develop my cerebellum and upregulate my brain. The results have been outstanding! I can focus better, sit longer at the computer, and increase my productivity.

I’ve also introduced a paper planner to stay organized.

This change in me is evident in my new adventures in cooking. Being able to better focus has helped me embrace new challenges.
