Our goal is to create a financially affordable ski and snowboard program to expose our inner-city youth and patrons to winter sports.

We hope to instill in them a lifelong love of the Canadian outdoors and inspire confidence in all our students

⏳It's been four and half years now. We kicked off with great momentum, and our hub was filled with beautiful creative minds and souls. Our creative juices were flowing. We ventured with everything, from special outdoor events at ski hills to winter art nights to art galas, plus providing winter programs and martial arts programs for the community. We were just about to expand host fundraisers & run community programs plus travel outside Ontario. Then COVID hit the world, and life was put on hold. As strong as we were, it still managed to break us, forced us to shut down & almost lost hope. Luckily, we had a strong community. We were able to adjust and adapt. We downsized & started to plan our dreams & waited till the next moment when we were set free and allowed to explore.

🎿Fast forward to winter 2021, the government lifted more restrictions, and we were able to take our close family and friends on a trip to MT Tremblant. Ten of us set out to conquer the slopes. Some of us were well versed on the slopes, while others were just starting.
It was great to see my kids genuinely excel in the sport (Jeremy, a 7-year-old rock star ripping double blacks & picking up snowboarding. His younger sister Josephine (3.5 years old started last season at 2.5). It was remarkable to see her concur the hills she was able to ski unassisted top to the bottom of tremblant. Both the children & parents had great breakthroughs. This trip was amazing to experience sharing my passion with others and seeing them chasing. I truly love my job & I know this is my forever purpose. To help everyone explore, experience and empower others through this sport.

✨Special thanks to Yuan facebook for arranging the trip for the parents
& Ontario Rides together (ORT) for helping make this trip possible

❄️Winter 2017-2018 I had the opportunity of a lifetime presented to me, my boss Graham tents. I had the chance to drive/ tour coast to coast from Toronto to BC and then to Pei with hometown hockey. Knowing I could pack my snowboard skies and longboard it was a done deal. It was Michael, I and my fellow adventurer and driver. We spent six months exploring this place I've called home for 26 years of my life. Canada is so breathtaking with its diversity. We would explore each province, eating food from the farmer's markets. The experience was out of this world. We hung out with locals & built relationships with the HTH crew. On the east coast, I would longboard & on the west coast, we would snowboard. I have to say nothing compares to rocky mountains and mountain hopping. We had one week in each city & made sure to make the best of it. Some of my most memorable places in BC were Whistler, Mt Washington on Vancouver Island, Sunshine, Lake Louise, Revelstoke, Castle Mountain & many more.

🎿I also connected with Amy & Peter Stuart, my old supervisor. They helped me excel in my sport when I first started.

In Revelstoke, above the cloud line, it would make you feel like you are in heaven. I belong in the mountains, rather than being surrounded by buildings. The view was amazing, the air was pure & the people were all so happy. It's like we all knew where we were and life's troubles seemed less troublesome. The mountains would just make you smile.
I knew I had to share this experience with the world about the treasures around the corner for them to explore and to some of the beauty in this world. Afterward, it was natural to say yes when given the opportunity of creating a community hub. So I made sure to create a winter ski program to continue to share this passion & eventually bring the community to travel and explore Canada with us.

✨Thanks, Graham, varsity tents, and the HTH crew for making this trip of a lifetime.

👏Welcome, Elena to Our Team.

Elena has been a part of our team since we launched. We have been friends for many years. We knew we would stay connected as friends from when we met for a lifetime. I am always intrigued by finding beautiful minds and beautiful souls and do my best to surround myself with that as much as possible. Some of the most amazing things happen when loved ones surround you. Our goals and purpose align, so it was natural to want to bring her talents to everything we do. Her first big moment was when we needed to prepare our little BJJ fighters. They were set to fight in their first tournament, and we brought her in to help calm the mind and the nerves. It worked. The team crushed it. Some of the kids brought home some medals. We were all so proud.

🧘Fast forward to this season, and we have collaborated with a few coaches. Elena will be leading both our yoga and meditation program. She has had this passion for a very long time, and we are excited to give her the platform to share this with our community. She's been skiing for years and loves it too. We are excited that she has also decided to take up snowboarding and is excelling very well. I'm happy we can continue to share our strengths and help each other grow and heal and continue to help each other out.

✨We have both been fortunate to grow up and become the individuals we are and are thankful to those that made this all happen. Now it's our turn to pay it back. The best way to pay it back is to pay it forward. We can't help those that have helped us, but we can share the experience they gave us to the next person. I'm excited to share this extraordinary journey with such an awesome person, and we are excited to unite everyone together safely and healthily.

✨Mindfulness in the space of sports has been a well-known technique for many athletes to remain calm and focused during competition and relaxed afterward. Connecting mind and body allows us to stay present by being aware of our body and enjoying the moment in front of us.

🧘‍♀️Meditation has also been known to be a natural immune booster (as it reduces stress). Visualization meditation techniques are also used to visualize goals in sports.

🧠As we train our bodies we need to also train our minds. Body and mind go hand in hand with sports and competition.

Life seems to always get better on the slopes 🗻

“The attraction of snowboarding is the freedom it gives you. With a snowboard on your feet, the sky is the limit. You can do anything and go anywhere. This is not just for pro riders. It is for everyone.” — Jeremy Jones

A little reminder that you need skiing in your life 😉

If we’d never met, I think I would have known my life wasn’t complete. And I would have wandered the world in search of you, even if I didn’t know who I was looking for.” - Nicholas Sparks

✨ Next on our list is Deanna. One of our super remarkable human beings. Our missing piece to the team. Deanna and I met back in grade 8 and went to high school. We were good friends, but now she’s officially part of the family. We were separated back in grade 10 when our lives took separate paths, she ended up in New Jersey, and I traveled from high school to another. It wasn’t until one day when Deanna and her sister decided to learn how to snowboard at our local hill. Will couldn’t help but see these two girls struggling on the rope tow, so he decided to help them out. We got them comfortable enough to want to try going down the main hill.

⛷ They slowly slid down the slopes till they ended up in line. That was the moment we reconnected again. She was the perfect missing piece to our crazy wild adventures. She's very talented and has the same extraordinary personality as we do. We started at bales but traveled to Mt St Louis, then blue mountain. She even made her way down double black diamond mogul runs in Tremblant, which she loved. She’s always a joy to have around, and she will even get me to dress up in an elephant onesie. It’s astonishing the ripple effect this has had, students becoming teachers, constantly spreading their love for the sport with everyone they meet. Life is always amazing when two beautiful humans and souls surround you. We feed off each other energy, and when we are all together, we are team awesome. And we are here to spread love, lots and lots of love.

Are you ready for us?!

✍🏽This story begins with two strangers meeting in high school. It’s rare to find a friend who mimics yours. We both were the same age, 2 of our siblings are the same age and our nieces are the same age. We have similar personalities and are equally charming. The universe knew one of us wasn’t enough so now there are two. Willis was the type of friend that pushed me as hard as I pushed him.

🏉🎿He got me to play rugby in my final 2 years of high school and I introduced him to skiing and snowboarding. He was natural to the sport and fell in love with it the same way I did. Our lives have forever been intertwined in crazy sports and adventures. The list is endless from jumping out of planes to competing in longboard races, tandem skiing down Blue mountain, and Tremblant. If anything crazy, wild, or exhilarating to do he would be the first one I would call or vice versa. Any time there was a crazy wild adventure or task that was my guy. We got our family and friends into the sport as early as possible. It has become our life’s mission to expose more people to this beautiful awesome sport. We have continued to be healthy role models in each other’s lives to push each other to stay active, stay fit and always have fun.

💫I believe we have found the fountain of youth and it comes down to doing what you love with all those that you love. It’s been a hell of a ride so far and I'm excited to see what the future has in store for us. Like they say where there's a Will there's a way. I found my Will, have you found yours?
