Storefront Update - as we focus on finding our new home, and sharing Letterbox 2.0 with you, we will be closing the storefront weekends to focus on finding the perfect home for Letterbox’s next journey 🤩

We will still be open 7 days a week for online orders 🙌

From our early days we knew we wanted to help our community celebrate special moments, in as many ways as possible, and we are so excited to finally be getting to embark on that journey. Stay tuned as we gear up to CELEBRATE 🎉

Nothing is changing with online preorders - we are still here to help you celebrate special moments from birthdays to office parties, weddings to baby showers. Our online custom donut shop is open 7 days a week, for both delivery and pickup 🍩🍩🍩

Yesterday was one of the hardest days for Letterbox. We’re crushed, disappointed, and tired.

Over the past few months we have been looking for our next location - a space we could call home in a neighbourhood that shared our values of community, fun and celebrating with friends and family.

Yesterday, we thought we found our dream home in the Danforth. We were thrilled. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and wanted to rally behind a new business within their community.

It was a dream come true. We had a final walk through and talked terms. We were ready to call the Danforth our home.

And that’s when (obviously) we had our hearts broken.

After our realtor and contractor had left, we were approached by someone who would be becoming one of our neighbours. Within 30 seconds of introducing ourselves, it was made clear that we were not welcome.

After mentioning that many small businesses had tried to operate out of that location, she proceeded to say that she would do whatever it takes to force out the next small business. She would petition everything, and ensure we failed.

What was one of the most exciting days in our little 4 year history, quickly turned into one of our hardest.

We know she is not a representation of the community, but we also know how hard running a small business is, and how much damage one person can do and unfortunately we made the decision to not move forward with an offer.

Please, be kind to small businesses, we put our lives into what we do, with the intention of providing a product or service to make others happy.
