🚨🚨🚨 NEW COFFEE ALERT! 🚨🚨🚨
We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our coffee lineup, available as espresso, drip, pour-over, and retail (whole and ground beans).
This special coffee comes from the CoopeAgri farm in Costa Rica. It features stone fruit notes like APRICOT, a bit of TANG like TANGERINE, and a sweetness reminiscent of DATES that adds to its mouthfeel. Whether as an espresso, paired with milk, drip, or pour-over, this coffee says it all.
The roast of this coffee is considered a **medium roast**, allowing enough development to highlight these special notes. This coffee is a new addition to our *Adventurous Hopper*, roasted by .
About the origin: This coffee is named in honor of Don Claudio, the first president of CoopeAgri El General R.L., who aimed to increase producers’ involvement in the coffee value chain and challenge the dominance of private enterprises. Established in November 1962, CoopeAgri has become a key force for growth in southern Costa Rica, expanding from a small coffee processing operation to a multi-faceted organization. It manages Fairtrade-funded projects, a cupping laboratory, organic manure production, reforestation, and educational initiatives. The cooperative has deep community ties, running a café, six supermarkets, agricultural stores, a fuel station, a hardware store, and a medical clinic. Representing over 8,000 members and employing more than 700 workers, it is Costa Rica’s largest cooperative. The coffee is grown by smallholder farmers in the Chirripó Mountain area. The eco-friendly mill uses centrifugal force to remove mucilage, reducing water consumption and nutrient runoff, with parchment washed and mechanically dried.

We’ve been eagerly anticipating this coffee from an extraordinary origin. Available only for a limited time due to its limited supply, this unique coffee hails from the SUMATRA region in Indonesia. Savor its red fruit taste and aroma, unique banana notes, and a dark chocolate finish. Whether as an espresso or paired with milk, this coffee truly shines. Our medium roast allows for enough development to highlight these special notes. This coffee is a new addition to our adventurous hopper, roasted by .
About the origin: The Gayo Arabika Mahkota Indonesia (GARMINDO) cooperative represents 760 members farming small plots averaging 1.5 ha, nestled in the dense tropical forests of the Northern Gayo Mountains. Established in 2008 by Sakdan, who owns and operates Bergandal Farm and Mill, the cooperative supports community development and resource sharing. Sakdan’s wet-hulling machine, one of the oldest in Sumatra, is powered by its original Mitsubishi truck engine. Fresh red cherries for this lot are floated for ripeness before washing, then fermented in an airtight container for 24-72 hours, and washed again to remove mucilage. The washed coffee is sun-dried to a moisture content of 13%, hulled, graded, and hand-sorted for quality control.

🚨🚨NEW COFFEE ALERT! 🚨🚨
Finally the wait is over! We are super excited to once again launch our famous SUPER coffee El Paraiso Colombian bean. We have been serving this coffee for a couple of weeks now and once it’s been a huge success. Donna, our roaster, needed to roast a few times a week to keep up with demand.
This coffee is very special for how unique and spot on taste notes and aromas are. The espresso is sweet, juicy and smooth. gives you strawberry jam🍓, Lychee, Bergamot and Vanilla. This coffee will exceed your expectations in all its forms. We are not exaggerating when we say that this coffee when mixed with milk tastes like strawberry milkshake. As a pour over it gives you lychee & strawberry juice, with bergamot aftertaste with a hint of vanilla it is almost like a flavored tea.
Processed using anaerobic fermentation, this bean truly makes a uniquely smooth, fruity and aromatic cup of coffee that when left to slightly cool down all the unique flavors shines even more.
This coffee has earned a very high grade by the speciality coffee association, it’s definitely one of the best coffees we’ve tried.
We have picked this specific havrvest out of many for how good and unique it is.
We secured enough greens so we can enjoy this beautiful and special harvest as long as possible.
Behind the roasting is Donna Donna has been roasting over 6 years and has come a long way from her start at home back in Taiwan where she began roasting with a 1 KG roaster. She is now a certified Q grader who is accredited by the CQI to grade and score coffees utilizing standards developed by the Speciality Coffee Association of America’s. Donna is active in the specialty coffee scene giving her time to teach others the craft of roasting!
