This week we had to say goodbye to our summer hires, Ben and Abby. These two have been an absolute thrill to have at Sunnyside these past couple of months. We’ve been absolutely spoiled by their hard work, sense of humours, and the joy of their company. To say we are sad to see them leave is an understatement, we will miss them terribly while they’re away at school. It’s not goodbye, but see you later. We wish you both the best of luck at University. You’re welcome to pour your own beers and ice-cream anytime 💛😭🫶

Hey folks,
Our beloved turtle has gone missing from its home on the windowsill. 🐢 This may seem trivial to some, but he has been with us since the beginning, and is a small part of the soul of the shop.

We know that many of our little customers love our turtle, and look forward to seeing/playing with him during their visits.

If by chance he was taken by accident we would love to have him back, no questions asked.

We miss him dearly 💚

Hey folks, we just wanted to share a little Sunnyside news with you, while on our mini vacation last week, Sarah and Jeff decided to tie the knot and eloped on their way to Detroit, and we all couldn’t be happier!
Did we all cry when they came back and told us? You bet 😭🥰💛

This Thursday will be our Eamonn’s very last day with us.

Eamonn has been a key player at the shop for the last couple of years, responsible for helping us run this place so smoothly.
From the punching + blanching of every potato into those tasty fries, to receiving all of our stock and goodies, he has had his hand in it all.

During his time here, he has built up great relationships with our suppliers and he has kept the shop looking TIGHT.

Please stop by this week and say Farewell to him.

We sure are gonna miss him and his ‘can-do’ default attitude!

Take a rest for a while on that Chesterfield sofa buddy and maybe catch up on a few rounds of golf too.
