✨👩👩👧👦 Maternity Leave pt2 coming soon! 💕🌼
October 2023 - June 2024
My sweet little Henry is getting a little (littler?) sibling in October! Yup, we’ve doing a real deep dive into parenthood, and going for 2 kids under 1 year. I’ll be taking about 8 months off to embrace all of the chaos and love of the early days with two babies.
There’s not much available in the schedule before I’m off, but get on that waitlist if you want to come in for a massage this summer! Cancellations happen, so I’ll hopefully be able to squeeze you in soon 🤞
If you’ve consented to getting emails from me, you can expect one next spring to let you know when I return to work. Or keep an eye on this page for updates!
Parental leave has been a happy, hazy dream with our sweet little Henry Wilder 💞
But I’m excited to be getting back to the practice that I love so much, and reopening for bookings again! Starting February 19th, I’m back in the studio for limited hours Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday. Appointments can be made up to 2 months in advance, but if you’d like to set up a treatment plan beyond that, let me know and we can map that out together.
Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
My wife is pregnant, and we’ve got six weeks until the baby’s arrival date! (And I am giddy beyond words!!!)
There are only a few appointments available before then, but please add yourself to the waitlist if none of them align with your schedule or needs (things reshuffle a lot around this time of year). Only existing clients can book for now, so hopefully that will make it easier for you to squeeze in one more massage during these busy days!
Also, check out .milly who is now providing her incredible treatments in the same space on Saturdays!
Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and I am continuing to take small and mindful steps to do better in supporting the indigenous peoples and history of these lands.
I am participating in , and donating my full day’s wages to Their programs support clients to overcome intergenerational trauma, chronic diseases, and complex health issues resulting from historical social inequities.
If you are also a settler trying to do better, please donate to them, or to another Indigenous-led organization that is working hard to support the First Nations, Métis and Inuit folks that Turtle Island truly belongs to. Let’s keep taking steps in a better direction.
After some careful consideration, I am adjusting my treatment fees this fall! Some are going up, some are staying the same, and all are a bit more balanced to reflect the time and energy I invest into your care. If you have any questions, concerns, or if you are low income and do not have extended health benefits (I have a few sliding scale slots available), please contact me directly to chat about it!
Check out by website (https://www.anyarmt.com) for details.
PS—any bookings that you make before October 1st will keep the current rates, so book yourself in now through to the end of the year to save a few $!
🐈⬛✨Get a massage and help cats at the same time! ✨🐈⬛
It’s the Annex Cat Rescue Spring Auction 2022! I’ve got two 1-hour gift certificates up for bidding, alongside many other great items and experiences, and all profits go towards this awesome, 100% volunteer-run charity. I have fostered cats with ACR several times (see kittens in last year’s post) and foster-failed/adopted my beloved Frida Catlo (swipe to see her cute face) through them. I’ve also seen, many times over, the incredible work ACR does to rescue, socialize and support street cats in Toronto.
Check out the link in ACR’s bio and make some bids! Auction ends tomorrow! 🐈
The Ministry of Health mandates require masks in ALL healthcare settings (including massage therapy clinics) until April 27th.
Beyond that, I will still be requiring everyone to wear a mask in my private practice for a while yet. As someone with a disability and with a history of chronic illness, I feel strongly about putting the health and welfare of my vulnerable clients and community (as well as myself!) at the forefront of my care.
If you have any questions about my health and safety protocol, check out my website for more info, or reach out to me directly! I’m happy to elaborate on my practices and rationale.

Thank you to my clients who came in for treatments yesterday, The National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, helping me raise money for . With your support, I was able to donate $427 to their programs which support the mental, physical and spiritual health of Indigenous folks in Toronto.
And thank you to the many people (friends, family and clients) that had reflective, heartfelt conversations with me about the role and impact that we have as settlers on these lands. Let’s continue to take mindful, constructive, strong steps towards being the allies that the First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples of these territories deserve. Let’s honour the memories of those who died tragically by colonial hands, and listen carefully to the voices of those that continue to feel the effects of this dark history, today.
September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (the evolution of Orange Shirt Day), a day to educate ourselves on the tragic history of residential schools and their profound impacts on generations of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. It is a day to celebrate the powerful people and cultures that survived, and to honour and mourn the children that did not make it home.
I am a white settler on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat people. I am committed to learning, listening and doing better by Indigenous people, today and all days. A small part of that is donating 100% of my treatment fees on Thursday, September 30th to Anishnawbe Health Foundation. is a health centre that has a huge array of programs and resources to support the physical and mental health of Indigenous individuals and families in Toronto, with a model of health care based on Indigenous culture and traditions. For decades they have been building a healthier, stronger Indigenous community by helping people to overcome barriers such as homelessness, poverty, trauma, abuse and addiction.
Heads up! Small pricing increase ahead—but it includes a thanks to those who follow me online!
✨Any bookings that are confirmed in the online booking system before October 1st will retain the original fee ✨
So if you already know your fall schedule, book ahead of time and save!

It is always important to weigh the risks vs the expected benefits of a treatment—a balance that is different for every individual on any day—and especially so in times like these. I am dedicated to making my clinic as safe as possible by strictly adhering to Ministry of Health guidelines for pandemic safety protocol, and to talking through any questions and concerns about what that means to you as an individual.
Contact me by email, DM, or phone if you have any questions! Or book online any time 🌟
What a heartbreak to see this beautiful RMT space permanently close last night. Toronto Bodyworks was my first Canadian massage therapy clinic 4 years ago. It is where I found a community of talented and supportive RMT peers (many now dear friends), where I built so many inspiring client relationships, where I have felt safe and supported through the challenges of working in health care during a global pandemic. I am so grateful for the time I had there, and I will miss it greatly 💙
Cozy room on a chilly day ❤️❄️
All COVID-19 protocols remain carefully adhered to, and treatments continue to be provided whenever the expected benefit outweighs the risk. As always, I welcome any questions about the health and safety guidelines that I follow
Fancy new table, and so many layers of comfortable! Triple-density 3” foam table top + 1” fleece table warmer + sanitized vinyl cover + fresh cotton sheets + super soft blanket! Perfect for these chilly days
