Living out my own BRAT summer (😝), I’m going on vacation to Alberta to visit family for a week. I’m fulfilling orders this afternoon, but otherwise they will be shipped out the week of August 6th. Get those last orders in asap!

I’m so excited to be going home! I’ll be celebrating my 30th birthday (which is not so BRAT, as it turns out), and I can’t wait to be surrounded by friends, family, and bees 🐝

What are some flavors that I need to include in the line-up? I love bringing only 5-6 to prevent overwhelm during tastings, but all 12 flavours are near and dear to my heart!

When sweetening your tea or lemonade this summer, reach for a healthier alternative to sugar with honey! We recommend dissolving it in equal parts warm water first, and then adding to your refreshing drink of choice

You can’t beat our Classic Wild Prairie honey. It’s the super smooth, creamy wildflower honey that makes up the base of all the infusions, without any of the fuss. It’s the best honey you’ve ever had! 🐝🍯

Happy ! I was lucky enough to be surrounded by bees as a child, growing up on a bee farm on the Canadian prairies. Today, I get to work with honey, talk to others about the importance of bees and pollination, and share my love of bees with the world!

Did you know that 1/3 of the world’s food production depends on bees alone? While there are thousands of types of bees, honey bees are the little pollinating powerhouses we often think of first. They are the only ones who produce honey, and they are instrumental in keeping our global food supply running! 🐝

How can YOU help the bees?
1) plant bee-friendly flowers in your gardens
2) opt for organic, sustainable produce when possible
2) buy high quality honey products from a beekeeper you trust. Be prepared to spend a bit more money to ensure you’re getting the real thing!

It’s Chandler Honey’s annual reminder that dandelions are one of the best spring food sources for bees!

Coming out of winter, dandelions provide lots of pollen and fresh nectar that bees use to get their strength back up 💪 we encourage you to participate in “No Mow May”, where you let dandelions and other flowers grow in your backyards to help bees and other pollinators. As a bonus, you get to hold off on mowing the lawn for a few more weeks 😜

It’s a rainy day here in Toronto. The perfect weather for a cup of tea, a drizzle of raw honey, and (ideally) a nap 😴

I’m so proud to finally announce where this big order (which I teased a few days ago!) has been sent off to! Chandler Honey is thrilled to be joining and in their Gourmet Foods section. We worked on this order for over a month, and I can’t wait to see it hit the shelves and get in front of more Canadians! 🇨🇦.

I strongly believe these stores are a PERFECT fit for Chandler Honey - tapping into an audience looking for gourmet, gifty, and unique food items.

I wish I could tell you exactly what stores and where across Canada these jars are going, but they have a really interesting process where, seemingly, products are dispersed fairly randomly. They then use the data of which products are selling well in which locations to decide if/when to reorder.

This is where I need your help! If you see Chandler Honey on a shelf, I’d LOVE if you took a picture and tagged me. I’d love it even more if you purchased a jar or two, as this will really help me establish myself as a brand that Winners and HomeSense wants to keep working with. Happy Shrove Tuesday (aka Pancake Day!) 🥞

Growing up in Scandia, we always had a big community pancake supper. Some people celebrate today as the last day before Lent; some just really like pancakes! 😋

I’m a huge fan of using honey instead of maple syrup on my pancakes. Some of my best flavors (imo!) are Earl Grey, Orange Grove, and Mocha. In fact, I even whipped up some pancakes this morning with a dollop of butter and Earl Grey honey. It made this dreary Tuesday morning all the more bearable 😝
