WE HAVE FOUNDATION, CONCEALER, MASCARA, EYE LASHES, BLUSH, EYESHADOWS, GEL LINER & BRUSHES COVERED WITH BARELLE COSMETICS, BUT THE LONG WEARING LIPCOLOUR DEPARTMENT IS PROVING TO BE AN ARDUOUS TASK AS SO MANY MAKEUP COMPANIES HAVE DRUNK THE KOOL AID NOW.

HOWEVER, I'M CONTINUING TO RESEARCH AND WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED. AND IF ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS, PLEASE SHARE.

IN THE RECENT PAST I'VE BEEN RECOMMENDING L'OREAL DOUBLE EXTEND TUBE MASCARA. HOWEVER, WITH MY BOYCOTTING, I'VE TAKEN A RECENT LOOK BACK AT "BLINC" AGAIN WHICH I USE TO USE EXTENSIVELY. HOWEVER, NOW THEY HAVE ENHANCED THE VOLUME AND THAT'S GREAT.

I've had a serious family matter to attend to the last 3 months and have been MIA. But I'm working hard at overcoming and healing from my grief. So I'm aiming to start posting again as soon as I'm able.

IN TODAY'S MODERN WORLD I, AGAIN THOUGHT TO MYSELF, HMMM.....THE MASKS ARE A PERFECT TRUSS FOR THOSE OF US WITH MORE THAN THE ONE CHIN WE WERE BLESSED WITH AT BIRTH. WHATCHA THINK? HA HA HA

The POWER & MAGIC of MAKEUP & HAIRSTYLING

Aside from the magic of balancing out and adding lost contrast to our aging faces and utilizing our honed makeup and hairstyling skills for where we are now, there is an amazing power that we often don’t recognize or pay attention to.

Have you ever noticed that when life visits you with depression, uncertainty, pain or other negatives, we are less responsive to how we present to the world and as equally important - to ourselves?

I’m writing this as an important reminder that when we do pull up our hose and take the important time to dawn our updated makeup and hairstyling, it makes an enormous difference in the way we go about our day - even when we have to tip toe through disaster.

And I’m NOT talking the full Red Carpet treatment either, I’m simply referring to the first half of the Masterclass segments and to the simple hairstyling and other makeup videos on my YouTube channel - www.youtube.com/twominutetips

I speak not only as a Master Artist, but more so from my - eh hem - “adventures” through serious trials and tribulations in my life.

I’ve written about this before and done a video on the power of good grooming & makeup, yet given the severe times we are living through I felt it was necessary to speak about it again.

Currently, I’m personally dealing with a devastating situation with a family member as well as being attacked for standing up for our ever dwindling common sense and fairness in the advocacy work I’ve been constantly called to do all my life. And I gotsta tell you that the power of my makeup is keeping me together for every battle and situation I have to endure.

I’ve noticed that when I make the effort to present my best self, its like putting up the shields Star Trek style or dawning my cloak of protection. The power is palpable. And it has never, ever, ever let me down. It has always provided me with a secret strength and solid direction in what needed to be done.

And the other often hidden secret to keeping on track during turbulent times is the power of journalling, especially when you may have nobody to talk with. And I admit then when I journal with or without my makeup & hair done, the writings are different. It's quite amazing actually.

Now, I would be remiss if I didn’t underscore the fact that the beauty industry does NOT UNDERSTAND this at all. The only thing they are interested in is bilking billions from women’s hard earned dollars with false promises through a propaganda machine that is second to none. Create a doubt and fly in with an unnecessary and too often exceedingly expensive product to correct it.

And of course there are streamlined, good performing, well priced, environmentally responsible products and tools out there that this page recommends for you.

It's not difficult to learn the skills and it only requires a month’s dedication of daily practice to get you to a new and better level - again all laid out for you on this page. AND you have an expert coach at the ready to help you with a simple Pay Forward of your own time, talent or treasure a person or group in need in your postage stamp of the world.

Remember a truly powerful, confident and healthy perspective with a dedication to be your best in heart and mind, while putting your best foot, face and frock forward will keep you strong no matter what life brings your way.
