Teen/Tween yoga (ages 11 - 16) is not the same as a kids yoga class and not quite an adult yoga class. If teaching tweens and teens is going to be a big part of your career, you may want more guidance.

Guest Trainer, Claire Smith (she/her), a Yoga Yoga Masters graduate, went on to open 2 storefront yoga studios (Yoga Truly) and then created a wildly popular Tween/Teen Leadership Program.

Claire taught the Leadership Program at her studios, a sold out program, that became one of her top income earners, and also built a community of young yogis.

Claire will share a 40 minute teen yoga lesson plan (come ready to do yoga) and then answer your questions about her program and how she succeeded teaching teens.

For those interested in Yoga Alliance trainings and schools, you may have heard that Yoga Alliance has announced the 2024 training provisions for all yoga schools, including Children's Yoga Schools.

The COVID provisions will end on Dec. 31, 2023 and then these new provisions will come into effect from 2024 onward. These changes also apply if you're thinking of getting your 200 Hour, 300 hr, or prenatal training.

Yoga Alliance is a voluntary registry - so you don't have to register with them. It is your choice to meet these industry standards.
