We come in all shapes, sizes and curves. Some of us have curved spines. I had fusion surgery in 1970 which affected my movement and flexibility. The surgery did not correct my curve. The surgery has caused me more problems that are not just my spine. If I had known what I know now I wouldn’t have had spinal fusion surgery

TPFF Board Member, Alfredo Jones, Introduces Tai Chi Flow Dance to NCB Hospital Staff
Today we spotlight TPFF Board Member, Alfredo Jones and a new TPFF Wellness Program, Tai Chi Flow Dance. Alfredo is a lifelong Bronxite and the Deputy Executive Director of NYC Health+Hospitals | North Central Bronx. He has broad experience in healthcare management and holds a Master’s degree in Public Health in Community Health Education from Hunter College, a Master’s degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Cornell University, College of Human Ecology.
Always aiming to support staff and help people, Alfredo is introducing this TPFF program for NCB staff. Tai Chi Dance Flow was developed by the New York College of Health Professions in partnership with TPFF.
Tai Chi Flow Dance, is an 8-week on-site program, offered free of charge and made possible through a 2023 NYC Cultural Affairs grant.
