Every year on September 14 s*x workers around the world celebrate
S*x Worker Pride Day.

Started in 2019 by the Global Network of S*x Work Projects for s*x workers to commemorate themselves, their community and the work they do.

S*x workers still face heavy forms of violence every day for who they are and the work that they do. We take this day to hold space for ourselves and our fellow community members to share their stories and to celebrate all they’ve accomplished and achieved - particularly in the face of marginalization due to criminalization, discrimination and stigma.

Today and every day we call for the decriminalization of s*x work to enhance s*x workers’ agency and self determination over their own lives.
