Canadian Ski Patrol - Central Ontario Zone
Canadian Ski Patrol - Central Zone - Recruiting Page Have you ever thought about how these people get off the ski hill to get to medical care?
Each winter, over 2000 people are admitted to hospitals in Canada as a result of a skiing or snowboarding fall, according to the Canadian Institute for Health Information, 2011. Ambulances and paramedics can't get to a patient in the middle of a ski hill or on a nordic trail. The vast majority of injured skiers and boarders are helped by volunteer members of the Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP). We invite you to come out and see what we do and how we do it.
Due to the ongoing weather conditions and a challenging season for snow, the OSRA GO SKIING and GO SNOWBOARDING event usually held in downtown Toronto for aspiring skiers and boarders to try the sport has had to be cancelled.
On we celebrate all the amazing women of the snow industry. Thank you for always being there to teach us, inspire us, and be such a vital part of our community. đź’Ş
