With weekly meetings, Schulich Toastmasters strives to enhance members' public speaking, communication and leadership skills.
We are open to Graduate and Undergraduate, Schulich students as well as any York students interested! Communication - perhaps one of the most omnipresent skills used in our lives. It is also the one skill that many feel inadequate about. Toastmasters is about breaking the barriers that prevent you from becoming an excellent public speaker. The case competition includes exclusive and informative workshops and panels from Grant Thornton, the Big 4 companies, and many more! This is in addition to the networking, events, and meals that are offered! STM provides attendees the exclusive opportunity to network with representatives from diverse firms, gain valuable mentorship, participate in skill-building workshops, and improve public speaking skills.
