Time for a drink! 🥂 .hfx another new concept from has arrived in the development!

Inspired by the colourful peacock, the space exudes a sense of whimsy while being perfectly serious (but not too serious) about its food and beverage offerings. 🦚 Exotic imagery of the wall and ceiling murals in combination with the dramatic furniture colours and lighting elements create an electric venue, where although there are many seating options, there isn’t a ‘bad seat in the house’. Peacock offers the perfect instagrammable experience for those who enjoy wine, cocktails, food, and camaraderie no matter their age. 💜

It's official! ✨ one of the newest restaurants in Halifax's development is now open! Our team is so proud of how this space has turned out! 💛

As bazaars were traditionally outdoor spaces, the design concept for this Mediterranean Restaurant utilizes various elements to create the sense of the outdoors, inside; in a decidedly specific manner. 🌿 Sculptural wood “trees” with cascading lanterns, geometric screens and scalloped banquettes are unique features. Terracotta, Mustard Gold, and Teal Blues are introduced and used in combination with warm woods and soft metals. The result is sophisticated while still having a vibrant edge.

The stunning Club Lounge is a perfect upgrade to your stay at the ! ✨ One of our favourite features is a creative gallery hang wall installation above relaxing banquette seating and highlighted by dropped pendant lighting. This collection features a unique mix of art, graphics and photography in different framing styles. Each focuses on YYZ and Toronto subject matter from architectural details, historic photos, travel and flight inspired pieces and abstract interpretations of relevant forms such as aerial Toronto landscapes, Lake Ontario waves, plane cabin windows, and engine turbines. Thanks to / for working with us to curate the artwork for this hotel renovation!

Eighth Avenue Trattoria (E.A.T.) embodies the energy and bustle of a European street market. The design is a perfectly blended mix of natural elements of wood and marble with a hint of industrial metals, giving the space a modern and relaxed atmosphere. The playful food focused artwork is an exciting touch to the space!

The perfect space to make a phone or video call, get some quiet work done, read a book or schedule your flight 📞💻📝 The Sheraton Gateway "Booths" are small private rooms with a work surface, comfortable stool, task lighting and fabric lined walls. The enclosed "Booths" provide an acoustically and spatially private space, however the "Open Booths" designed as an open outward facing bench with pull-up tables allow guests to experience a more individual moment while still feeling as if they are still a part of the rest of the active and vibrant lobby space.

MDAI is currently working on a new build conference centre in Nova Scotia. 🌿 The Joyce Centre at the Fox Harb'r Resort will be a spacious and luxury event space adjacent to the resort's stunning golf course. Featuring high ceilings, expansive wood wall panelling, custom axminster carpets, coastal inspired artwork and original lighting, the property will be perfectly suited to cater to large conferences and weddings as well as smaller work functions and meetings. The Joyce Centre is under construction now! 🛠️ We cannot wait to share more photos of the space when it is complete!
