🚨 RED LIGHT THERAPY 🚨
An infrared sauna detoxifies, promotes circulation, relieves pain & joint stiffness, and boosts your mood. It works by stimulating mitochondrial function. If you remember anything from your highschool bio class, its probably that 'the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.' By stimulating its function, red & infrared light provides countless health benefits!
Lateral traction indicates a force driving outwards whereas medial traction indicates inward force. These two exercises are great for hip mobility and strength.
Let's talk about ergonomics- so many of us have back and neck pain from sitting at our desks all day. Ultimately, strength and mobility exercises are going to help you avoid the pain altogether but, there are certainly things you should do AT the office.
1. Stand up, walk around & stretch every hour
2. Make sure your monitor is at an appropriate & comfortable height
3. Rest your feet flat on the floor (get a stool if necessary!)
4. Ensure your mouse and keyboard are at a comfortable height (your forearms and hands should be level)
Deadlifts are an excellent exercise and have a couple variations - swipe through to see.
