🚨 Have a good relationship with your tenants and here’s why!! 👇
It’s always tough when tenants give their notice to leave during the holidays because it’s harder to find a new tenant during that time.
That means there’s a higher chance the home will be vacant until a new tenant moves in.
Having a good relationship with your existing tenant means that they’re more likely to cooperate, keep the home presentable and allow more showings to prospective tenants.
This allowed my landlord clients to get the home leased in about a week to a lovely family and the best part?! The home was left in immaculate condition!! 😍
This wasn’t by fluke by the way. The landlord repainted and professionally cleaned the home before the tenants moved in. They fixed things immediately and even replaced appliances.
Treat your tenants well and most tenants will return the favour.
Don’t be scared off by the media about bad tenants. They exist for sure but with a proper due diligence process, the odds will be greatly reduced and you’ll be able to have amazing tenants.
