Tots Together Preschool
A unique Day Care program for children aged 22 months to 3 years in Toronto’s Forest Hill Neighbou
Happy Father’s Day to our tots together dads!
Although our week was short, it was fun-filled and meaningful. We enjoyed two graduations and had ice cream parties in honour of Shavuot.
We are making the most of our last couple of days at Tots Together - the Toddler graduations this past week were beautiful! We are looking forward to Nursery and Jr. Nursery graduations next week.
Happy Father's Day to all our amazing Dads!
This is our speaker tomorrow night at The Village Shul. From Jail to Judaism.
We kick off the Shavuot Holiday at 9:00PM with our Scholar in Residence from L.A., Dr. Yehuda Pryce. followed by all night learning, lectures, a late night BBQ, and an all-night desert table, until 5:00AM!
Millions of Jews around the world will be doing this on Tuesday night, and if you’ve never tried it then this is your year to experience Shavuot for real at The Village Shul, 9PM tomorrow night!
The classes have all spent their time this week learning about Shavuot, the holiday commemorating our nation receiving the Torah. It is traditionally a time when we decorate our homes and synagogues with greenery and flowers and delight in eating dairy foods, like delicious cheesecake!
We plan on celebrating Shavuot in school next week with ice cream parties in our classrooms!
We enjoyed our last sessions of the season; fun dancing with Miss Sophia, and we had a great time at Sports with Coach Josh.
Don't miss next week's Shavuot Ice Cream Party in the Park!! 3:30PM, June 12th, Glen Cedar Park.
We are making the most of our last couple of weeks together at school.
Farm, Shavuot, Camping, and Graduation prep are some of the things we are busy with. We enjoyed a great dance session with Miss Sophia.
"You're advertising your NOVEMBER Bar & Bat Mitzvah programs NOW???"

The classes have been busy with different themes: Spring, Farm, Camping, and Lag Baomer.
Picture day was fun - we loved watching our friends smile for the camera!
We always love when Coach Josh comes to teach us new skills - this week we learned new ball skills.
SAVE THE DATE! Always EPIC! Every Shavuot!
Day two (of last weeks Israel mission) “If you don’t know what you’re willing to die for, you haven’t begun living!”
Today was a very hard, but life changing day. We started off the day visiting Mt Hertzl to show our respect, and commemorate the 25,000+ soldiers that were killed. Israel is different than any other country, unlike other places where there are always 6 degrees of separation, in Israel it’s only one or two degrees. Israel is family, and whether you live in Canada, America, or Israel everybody knows somebody that is fighting for our country or was killed.
We visited the graves of our most recent fallen soldiers, young, beautiful children. So young. The ages on the tombstones 19, 21, 23. Heartbreaking.
We showed our respects at the memorial of Ariel Tsym, whose parents were sitting Shiva at that moment, and who we would visit later that day.
There was so much more to this day including visiting several drop in support centers for soldiers, and a very meaningful evening with Eli Beer and United Hatzalah.
The Village Shul Aish Detroit
We had a great week as we continued learning about spring, and all about Israel, in honour of Yom Haatzmaut.
All of our classes celebrated, each with its own style and flair. We danced, sang, waved Israeli flags, and enjoyed blue and white snacks, falafel, pita, and Israeli salad. Some of us even travelled to Israel on an airplane!
Happy Mother’s Day to all our amazing tots together moms! We hope you have a very special day 💐
Another wonderful week at toys together! Shabbat Shalom!
Another wonderful week at tots together! Shabbat Shalom
We’re nearing the finish line as the teachers and children are absorbed in everything Pesach/Passover. We look forward to our “mock seders” happening next week in the classrooms.
Coach Josh was a hit, as usual. We had fun brushing up on our soccer skills!
He spoke last night at the Scotch & Steak event. What this man has seen and done since 10/7. No words.
He will be with us tomorrow morning, please join us. You will be really glad you did.
I'm really happy to share that our Israel mission is 2/3 full. If anyone wants to join us for this powerful experience this is the last week so sign up. It's truly life changing and unforgettable.

We are getting ready for Pesach/Passover around here! Baby Moshe/Moses is getting washed in the water table, frogs are jumping everywhere, and the sounds of Ma Nishtana can be heard in all of the classrooms. Learning about this holiday is full of many fun and rich experiences. We look forward to sharing them with you when Pesach/Passover arrives!
Hey Everyone, I’m really looking forward to our 3rd Israel mission since Oct 7 (and my first together with Miriam). It is a very powerful experience, and it’s open to men and women, of all ages, backgrounds and locations. (We even have father-son/mother-daughter adults coming with their parents).
We're running it together with our friends from Aish Detroit, and it's powered by Aish Global. If you have any questions please let me know. For our sample itinerary and more info: www.ourvillageshul.com/israel
Many of you know that I just got back from a VERY powerful Israel solidarity mission. Although I wasn't planning on going back so soon, there were many requests during the trip for us to run another one, and so G-d willing Miriam and I will be leading a mission together this May.
It's for men and women of all ages, backgrounds, and religious levels. (If you cannot join, but would like to help support someone who would like to go, but cannot afford, please let us know.)
The flyer is below, and here's the link to register: https://www.ourvillageshul.com/israel
I haven't yet spoken publicly about what happened on last weeks Israel Mission. G-d willing tomorrow at 11:15AM I will be speaking about it at The Village Shul. Everyone is welcome to join.
Shabbat Shalom!
This week has been a very busy one in all of the classrooms as the children prepared and packed Mishloach Manot, baked yummy hamantashen (smells like a bakery in here!), and acted out the Purim story with their Purim characters.
On Thursday the classes all said the "Shema" prayer at 11:30 am to join a worldwide prayer to bring the hostages home. May it happen soon. Amen!
Purim is in the air! Our classes are busy packing Mishloach Manot, dressing up in costumes and learning the story of Megillat Esther.
We started our final day by visiting the cemetery in Jerusalem. It was so painful to see several platoons of really young soldiers hugging as they gathered around their friends graves for the first time since they last saw them fall in battle. One of the graves we stopped at was Binyomin. A young man that was killed in battle a few months back. We gathered around to hear his friends talk about Binyomin, since we would be visiting Binyomins parents Jenn and Rob, just 30 minutes later... when we did meet his parents, they were the most inspiring and uplifting people I've ever met. One of the things she said was that before her son went into battle he said," I'm prepared to die for my people and the land of . Which is not what any parents want to hear, and it’s exactly what every parent wants to hear."
We then went to Shura base where we met 'angels' of people who compassionately handles the bodies of the hundreds of soldiers and civilians that have been killed, treating each person and family with the utmost dignity.
We closed the evening with a final dinner where everyone got up and opened their hearts about the impact of the The Village Shul and Aish Detroit Israel mission. We ended that night in Hostage Square hearing from a mother whose son was taken captive on Oct 7th, and the trip concluded with giving hugs and crying with his mother.
Purim preparations are in full swing around here! The children have been busy learning the Purim story and decorating graggers and character puppets from the Megillah (Purim story). We cannot wait to share this all with you when Purim comes and look forward to the Purim parties at school with you.
We have 180 people registered for tonight's Grand Opening! Registration closes this afternoon. The main focus of the night is on how to enhance intimacy and connection in our relationships. Everyone should come! Whether it's for now, or future relationships, it's SO important to hear. (For men and women). Registration required: https://www.ourvillageshul.com/mikvah
Hope to see you all there!
This week was a fun and busy one at Tots Together. The Toddler classes are learning about Community Helpers and the upcoming Purim holiday. The Jr. Nursery class focused on shapes and colours, and the Nursery class brought home their Shabbat Boxes; a project they have been working on for a while.
We learned some great hockey skills with Coach Josh, while having a great time!
Registration is closed for the dinner but you can still join in on the fun. Join us shabbat day March 2nd at 11:15 for a fun and engaging family experience with Rabbi B. Followed by kiddush and lunch (FREE!)
