Today is my Birthday and I want to do something meaningful in my community. The Pandemic has really hit some of us hard financially and for the downtown core, where I live and work, it's hit them even worse. This includes their pets 😔

There is an volunteer organization called Charlie's food bank, that helps pets of the homeless, low income homes, and senior guardians in the Downtown East Side, that provides Vet check ups, pet food, medication ..etc. I've always wanted to volunteer there but with the Pandemic it's made it a bit more challenging for everyone.

My way of helping today is simple! for every, share, Birthday greet, like, thumbs up, heart (any emoji! ) I will personally donate $2 for each from this page alone. ( I'm also posting this on my other social media accounts )

This week many of the schools across Canada have opened it's doors and speaking to a lot of parents this past few days, a majority have mixed feelings of security and anxiety. They are not just worried for their families health but for the health of all families within the school system. It will be a hard adjustment for everyone and we have to trust the school system that this is the best they can do to protect everyone but still be able to make it as normal as possible for the children and teens.

This is another reminder that life still goes on and that responsibilities have to be met now and in the long term. Your child's education is still extremely important and the cost of education in the future will not get any cheaper for them.

I can help with your children's education cost so it will be easier for them if they wanted to be the next batch of Doctors that will help fight the next future outbreak.

Do you personally know anyone that has needed blood because of a critical illness or from a serious accident? There are still many more serious health issues or traumatic events that still happens outside of this COVID world and people still need our help. If you haven't so and you are able, give blood. I've done it twice so far during the pandemic and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon.

This is my office. Its located right in central metro Vancouver. It has been closed since March 18 and no definitive return date as yet. COVID 19 has changed how we have interactions with our clients but it is reshaping how we do business for the better in my opinion. I've been using ZOOM with my clients even before COVID happened and it was a new thing for most clients. Now it's used more and more and people are getting used to the change and more open to it as a way of communication.

When it's safe to have face to face interactions in my office or even in your home we will, but during this time, we will all have to be diligent and use different ways of communicating.

We are still accepting new clients in BC, MB and ON and can easily have a discussion over ZOOM (or phone or e mail)

Today is . I usually tell my clients, you can always make money, but you can't make up the time you lost. Let's all appreciate what we have and not what we don't have on this earth.

I was supposed to volunteer my time in another country but now volunteering in my home city. If anyone needs me to buy and deliver any type of groceries or home essentials I am here for you. No judgement and No questions. This will get worse before it gets better.

Corona Virus | Habitat for Humanity

This virus is affecting people around the world and you might not realize it but this has or will effect you indirectly somehow. Prices have increased on certain goods and the financial markets have seen a sharp correction and will see some volatility in the next few weeks as the globe is trying to contain the virus immediately.

However, this has affected me as I have been planning for months to volunteer in a habitat for humanity build (solo venture ) in El Salvador to help the less fortunate. This was going to be my first build (outside Canada) and was excited to help families in one of the poorest countries in the world. Hopefully I can reschedule something soon once we all work together to get this virus controlled

This is a special memory for me. This marks the 10 year anniversary of me living in Vancouver BC. I actually moved here during the first days of the Olympics and had to sleep at my aunty Elsa's home for the first month before I got my feet settled. The energy of having 250,000 people in downtown alone was something I'll never forget. I moved here on my own and didn't have any work lined up and only knew a hand full of people. The only thing I had was my knowledge of the financial industry and my will to make it in this city.
