We just wanted to take a minute to thank all of the musicians who have chosen us as a venue, those that came out weekly for the jazz afternoons and blues nights that we have hosted for years and all of the regulars who supported live music in Vancouver by coming out for our shows.

To these bands, performers and music enthusiasts we would also like to apologize. For years we have fostered a clean and comfortable environment supportive of live performances. However, since the sale of The Patricia Hotel in 2020, we have found this to be an increasingly difficult undertaking; one that has ultimately become too challenging to continue.

We have been restricted to no live music after 10pm, we have experienced theft, destruction of property, aggression towards customers and staff, regular police presence, countless significant water leaks and floods, disruptions from fire alarms and legitimate fires.

We would love to be in a position to continue operating our brewery and space as we have for so many years, but unfortunately we feel as though the current climate in the area and environment that exists within our space is no longer conducive to providing our musicians and music lovers with an enjoyable and safe experience. As such, we have made the decision to discontinue all live music. We have been quietly postponing or canceling shows for sometime now, but felt it necessary to explain to you all precisely why this has been happening.

We are extremely hopeful that we will be able to revisit our commitment to the support of live music once we find a new location to move to, but for the time being, we're sorry.

After a brief hiatus due to heat & holiday, we're back and we're pumped to have you all back! In light of stage 3 opening, we're going to move forward cautiously and mindfully.
