Happy International Women's Day to all the incredible women out there! Today we celebrate women's social, economic, cultural and political achievements of all woman, and we also recognize the ongoing fight for gender equality.

As a family-run all-female business, this is close to our hearts. While we celebrate this day we also recognize that every day is international women's day and the need for a day has shown we have not achieved true equality.

When we can influence our brain to change before we experience a desired future event, we can create the appropriate neural circuits that will enable us to behave in alignment with our intention before it becomes a reality. Through our mental rehearsal of a better way to think, act, or be, we will “install” the neural hardware needed to physiologically prepare us for the new event.

If we keep installing, reinforcing, and refining our neurological hardware, the end result of the repetition is a neural network – in effect, a new software program. Now, we’ve cultivated the brain to be ready for our new experience. We have the mind in place to handle the challenge.

Teaching, training and transforming boys in the Cave of Adullam not only requires a lot of sacrificial love, patience and discipline, but also recovery. Thank you David McCullar of Inception- The First Mental Health Gym and NeurOptimal Neurofeedback Systems for helping me reset before compassion fatigue gets the best of me.

I truly cannot wait for all of you to see The Cave of Adullam documentary! Tomorrow is the red carpet premiere at Tribeca and it’s expected to release worldwide later this year!
