“Functional constipation is difficult enough when you're an adult, but for children, the condition can be unbearable. Changing the diet is not always the solution, and medication might be the only relief," said Gail Attara, President and CEO of the Gastrointestinal Society in a news release announcing the Health Canada approval of Constella® (linaclotide) for children.
