We have launched our Community Buddy program last weekend! Amazing turnout and enthusiasm by all of our participants! Thank you all for being a part of this, and making a direct impact for the newcomers!
We have an exciting announcement to
make !! 📢 🎉
We are launching our Community Buddy Program on April 3, 2022!
This 3 months long program is designed to support newcomers with any life related topics that will help them settle into their new community. The goal is to help the newcomers to create a meaningful c***ection in their local community, and ultimately a sense of home and belonging.
We are accepting applicants residing in Greater Vancouver, Victoria and Montreal! You can apply if you are a newcomer or a local residence living in those communities.

Our Story...
Community Tree is the result of a group of driven, creative and young visionaries set out to create the possibility of unity and c***ection in our community. Our founder, Meherun Laila, experienced the challenges of coping with new culture, language and community as she lived in four different countries throughout her life - Japan, Bangladesh, USA and Canada. She always felt that there is an absence of opportunity for newcomers to c***ect with their neighbours. Thus, with that sentiment, she rallied her friends and acquaintances to join her in the vision to create the non-profit organization, Community Tree.
