VCT is hosting FREE guided Mini Orpheum Tours as part of Downtown Vancouver's Granville Block Party celebrations this weekend! ✨ Taking place Saturday, Aug 24 from 1-5pm, the Mini Orpheum Tours begin approximately every 10 minutes and are led by the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame.

Join us for our final Dance Dance Dance event of the summer season Friday, Aug 16! We'll be wrapping up the series with a fan-favourite dance class - Bachata - hosted by our friends at Dance in Transit! 💃

Bachata, originating from a Spanish word for "good time" and the fast-tempo music style of the same name, is a lively dance style born in the Dominican Republic in the 1960s. Featuring a characteristic hip "pop!" Bachata is a quick, rhythmic Latin social dance with a bouncy feel that makes having a "good time" almost guaranteed! 👯‍♀️

Bachata is one of many different styles taught by Dance in Transit, a project of Vancouver-based company Sam's Dance. Dance in Transit holds tons of exciting dance workshops and classes throughout the year and we encourage you to check them out! Find their upcoming schedule at: danceintransit.com
