Lumen5 is a video creation platform designed for brands and businesses to produce social content for driving audience engagements online. The goal of the platform is to allow anyone without training or experience to easily create engaging video content within minutes. Our technology enables marketing teams to focus on the story and narrative while relying on our system to do the heavy lifting. Not

only does the platform offer tools to create a video, Lumen5 takes it a step further to supply you with all the resources needed to produce shareworthy videos. The platform offers a built-in media library containing millions of copyright-free photos, videos, and audio tracks. This means that your team will have access to everything you need without having to record or purchase any digital assets externally. Video content has been rapidly transforming the marketing landscape and the format has quickly claimed the spotlight as the single most popular medium among consumers across every industry. Many experts are required to produce a video such as scriptwriters, photographers, cinematographers, audio engineers, video editors, and more. The video production process is complicated, time-consuming, and extremely expensive. Technology has transformed many industries before, and we believe that our technology can transform the creative process involved in producing video content. Unlike blockbuster films or Super Bowl commercials, social content is all about speed and scalability. If something happens in the morning, you want to post a video about it before noon. This is why we believe there to be a real need to innovate the video creation process in order to meet the changing demands of the market. You have probably heard of buzzwords like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The field is very complicated, but in our context, it means building a system that can make decisions and perform difficult tasks which are normally done manually by marketing staff or video professionals. When you enter a blog post or news article, the system uses Natural Language Processing algorithms to help you summarize the content into individual scenes, resulting in a succinct storyboard for the video. Once the storyboard has been compiled, we use Computer Vision technology to match each scene with relevant photos, videos, and graphics. Video editing is a time-consuming process because it requires a lot of small tweaks and fine tuning. Using Machine Learning, we automate these tasks to help our users create quality videos with minimal time, effort, and training. For example, the duration of each scene is algorithmically determined based on the number of words in the scene, text positioning is intelligently placed to avoid covering important subjects such as human faces, important keywords are automatically emphasized and highlighted with your brand color, and a credit scene is generated at the end of each video to help you stay compliant with copyright laws.
