Flashback Friday. When I was a member and taking glassblowing classes at ! I miss glassblowing so much and everytime I am in the studio I pass by there for it’s right across the street from . Anyways , miss this and miss my favourite teacher ! 🤘❤️

Went to to volunteer at the booth, watch my Viking Sir Magnus aka do some fighting demos and to see good ol Bruce Campbell again, the most grooviest human on the planet! Saw some other friends too. Good times. 😁🤘

Made my lovely sweet friend this amethyst bat pendant on a leather choker for her birthday! So happy she loves it and it looks amazing on her. 🦇🩷

Another happy customer. I had met this couple when I was selling my artwork at the Eastside Culture Crawl. Her boyfriend had bought the decorative sun bottle from me but when he found out I made drinking horns his eyes lit up, but unfortunately I had sold them all. Then after the event his girlfriend asked me to make him a drinking horn for Christmas. He loves it. I’m so thrilled when I can make people happy with my artwork and they truly appreciate what I do. 🥰

HAPPY NEW YEAR BOILS & GHOULS! Ze hub and I went to NYE! What a blast! Thanks .events family for everything even the amazing decorations plus sick tunes as always! Was nice to see friends too and dance our butts off! Hope everyone had a great NYE! 🥳🤘🖤

I feel like I spent a bloody hr editing and figuring out a mixed reel for my Mystic_Glass_Designs Instagram page. Like it wouldn’t play clips in a row without music so I chopped them all. So much for me explaining how I make pendants. Haha. It remains a secret I guess. Seriously though, a bloody hr. 🤣 Here’s a couple simple ones I made today and I finished a custom ordered kaleidoscope that’s off to my friend in Chicago next week! 😁🤘

I need to do better photos but I’ve been busy making artwork for Market on March 17th which is next Friday! I’ve gone back to making kaleidoscopes and started making wands as well. Also have my drinking horns, goblets, bottles, pendants for sale and I also decided to make bookmarks too! Come check it out! I hope to see you there. 🙂

Had a great time at Eastside Culture Crawl. Sold 6 pieces of my artwork. A bird skull goblet, a drinking horn, 3 bird skull on glass gems pendants and a gorgeous fused glass pendant. I work out of my hubby’s studio Dark Horse Workshop at . I also work for him building props and costumes for the film and television industry from time to time. Yup, wonderful weekend and great to see some friends and socialize with new people too. I didn’t get a chance to walk around and see other artists but I did go to and say hi to my favourite teacher Laura Burns. We talked about me coming back and taking one of her weekend workshops. I’ll see how my asthma is doing. I do have a bird skull tankard left, 1 bird skull on a red gem pendant left and a stained glass candle holder left. So if your interested pm me. I also still do custom orders and will be making more, for Christmas will be here in no time! 🙂

My newest glassblown pumpkin that I made in Make a Pumpkin class at Terminal City Glass Co-op. So good to be back there and glassblowing pumpkins is my favourite! Think this is the 5th one I have done. I now have 2 orange with green stem, white with black stem, purple and green with green stem and now this purple with black stem. What a beaut! I love it! 🎃💜

Was very happy to be back at Terminal City Glass Co-op. I used to be a member here before the pandemic. I also chose to leave because of my asthma getting worse but yesterday was under an hr and I didn’t use paper I used the block to shape the glass. I think I’m going to try some weekend workshops again I miss it so much. I‘ll see how my asthma is. I did remember some steps and some I didn’t but regardless making a piece always requires teamwork. I’ve made 3 pumpkins before so this time I decided on a purple with black stem. Some things were different there too where you use a hose to blow through instead of the actual blowpipe itself. They gave everyone a little straw to insert at the end. Yup. So much fun but my skin definitely forgot how hot it can get when I went to do a gather from the furnace. Haha I’ll put up a pic after I get my pumpkin next week. 😄🎃🖤🤘

Happy Oct 1st Boils & Ghouls! I can’t wait to make another glassblowing pumpkin on Oct 15th. Woot! 🎃🖤🤘

I know I haven’t posted in awhile, sorry about that! In the mean time here is one of our fur kitts with a glass orb I made. Hopefully one day I can get back to glassblowing but it’s a challenge with asthma. We shall see. Have a great weekend everyone! 🙂
