Press release preparation is essential to corporate communications.
They can help you generate brand awareness, improve SEO, shape public perception of your company, and share news about business developments. To get your story featured, you need a press release that is timely and targeted. It must also relate to the atmosphere in arts, politics, business, social movements, or other current events.
Every brand has a story. All you need to do is find it, share it, and grow your business!

🏈 THE 7 BEST SUPERBOWL ADS OF ALL-TIME 🏈
The Superbowl is coming up THIS Sunday, and it’s a pretty significant day for the ad world. 🏆
Few ads are as well-received as those featured in the Superbowl. So naturally, February is game time for advertisers who vie for the mass exposure afforded by the United States' annual football spectacle. And, as the event becomes more lavish, so do the ads.
Ahead of Superbowl LVII, we've compiled a list of the best Superbowl commercials of all time. 🎥

The 2022 Kipling Media Holiday Party! 🎉🎉
We ate pasta, drank a bit (maybe more than a bit) of wine, and got merry!
What is your favourite holiday tradition? 🎄✨
It was a pleasure to help bring Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to the Vancouver Christmas Market yesterday for his holiday address on Global TV with Dawna Friesen.
It was a great day for our team and our client!
You may have noticed some of your favourite brands look a bit different lately.
Over the last decade, thousands of companies have changed their logos, fonts, colours, and entire brand identities, taking on more minimalist appearances. It’s part of a phenomenon that experts call “debranding.”
Debranding is when companies simplify their logos and brand assets, often discarding detail and depth. Companies trade gradients, shadows and highlights for trimmed-down, one-dimensional versions of their logo.

Haven’t you heard? Launched in its present form in 2018, TikTok joined the ranks of social media giants in record time. It had about one billion active monthly users worldwide by Sept. 2021.
Our goal at Kipling is to infuse a relatable personality into the social media profiles of our clients. By doing this, we can reach users by engaging with them through humour, dance, music, and emotional reliability.
The power of TikTok’s AI-powered algorithm is that it delivers content to users in a way that traditional mediums such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have never done before.
This program is handy to us as marketers, as we can now precisely target demographics by researching trends that have gone viral within specific communities and leveraging our creativity to fit within niche trend-related subject matters. This targeting method is much more valuable than paid social ads, as sponsored advertisements have become increasingly invasive to the user experience.

Want some tips to help write your first blog post? You’re not alone.
Honing your writing skills takes practice and persistence; it’s one of those things that you can never truly ‘master.’ The ultimate goal – whether you’re a blogger, a persuasive writer, an email marketer, or want to be the next Margaret Atwood – is to engage your audience and spark interest. Every word and phrase is intentional.
Unfortunately, there is no fixed recipe for capturing a reader’s attention. After all, writing is a creative endeavour that comes in various forms.
For our purposes, let’s define creative (or “blog”) writing as anything that’s not academic, scientific, or news writing – the opportunities are endless. But sometimes, the trick is just getting started.

DALL-E 2 and other AI image generators have made an impression in the marketing industry lately, gaining support and criticism for their immense potential.
This potential, however, has sparked fears about the future of design and art.

Here are some Writing Tips & Tricks from our Lead Copywriter Adam Farrell
1. Read!
And read lots! There are many different types of writing, and it’s not always easy to preserve your personal voice while writing for different purposes. To get in the right headspace, it can help to read something that matches the tone and style you’re going for before you start writing.
2. Avoid using “many people think that…”
Many people think that writing is easy and that the 80s were a stylishly superior decade. Just because you said it, doesn’t make it true! Making sweeping generalizations can delegitimize the point. It lends itself to confirmation bias, the tendency to support and express messages that reinforce a person’s pre-set opinions and beliefs.
3. Find the balance between eloquent and succinct.
Short sentences are impactful sentences. Make it easy for your reader and do what the best writers do: deliver your message in the most direct, succinct way possible by removing decorative language. The same goes for sweeping openers. A general rule of thumb is if it still makes sense without the first sentence, you might not need it.
4. The no CEO rule.
When you’re trying to make a point, nothing is Clear, Evident, or Obvious without proper argumentation and substantiation. When you’re writing a short story, this means describing the setting rather than stating it; when you are making a point, this means you need the why rather than simply providing your take on a matter. There is, of course, no need to substantiate well-known facts, such as that the sky is blue or that Kipling Media has the best bloggers.

THE CHALLENGE
“The brand identity and sense of energy established was consistent throughout”
Living Alchemy had excellent products and an established infrastructure to distribute high-quality supplements across Canada and the US. They needed people to know their name, their branding, and their products by sight. Every creative agency in Vancouver will have worked with some sort of health brand. The challenge was making Living Alchemy stand out in a saturated market.
THE OBJECTIVES
1. Develop a brand aesthetic to cut through a crowded marketplace
2. Create visual content to engage, inspire, and inform
3. Boost sales by building brand recognition and trust
OUR SOLUTION
We helped Living Alchemy to create an engaging visual style, video content, and marketing strategy.
Our explainer video sold the brand to people in an intriguing way, using a pacey edit and an engaging animation style. What could have been a dry educational video became a piece of art that excited people about the brand. A second video we produced, Happy Bellies, was conceptualised and executed entirely by the Kipling team. While the two videos were different, the brand identity and sense of energy established was consistent throughout.
