Thank you all for sticking with me. I am wishing you love, strength, and good health in the coming year. See you in 2022!
The winter interior design trend for this year is bringing nature inside.
There are many ways to do so. One of the most unusual is through shapes. These shapes are inspired by nature, mimicking the natural worldโs smooth-flowing lines that automatically draw the eyes through space and create quiet drama.
Hack: If you want a wintery atmosphere in your house but do not want to go for the classical Christmas decorations, use shrubs or conifers in combination with candles.
It will turn your home into rustic heaven.
A creative way of separating the eating zone from the cooking zone.
I know how much you love giveaways. This is why for this Black Friday I have decided to announce one myself.

Good Luck!๐
Where to start with the ideal winter focal point?
Whether traditional, or modern-inspired, fireplaces have winter interior design written all over them.
There is something quite romantic about throwing a log on a flame or simply lighting a match to your gas-powered vessel that surpasses all other home decor for the coming season.
Lighting is one of most important element in any Interior Design.
Interior Design is the freedom of creativity and expression incorporated through furniture, finishes and eye-catching color schemes while lighting is most of the time being neglected or placed as the alst priority.
Lights affect the overall design of an interior space drastically in different ways. For instance, lights, when placed incorrectly can make the size of a room appear smaller.
Heating the season up with a hot stylish fireplace means cosying up under your blanket, roasting marshmallows with loved ones, and making a serious statement whilst entertaining guests for a copious amount of holiday cheer. with a bag of gifts and joy.
No, the heat-generating fireplace has not been igniting only your body, but also your soul, bringing the cosiness of a happy and warm place.

Where to begin when considering Christmas interior design?
The key idea of Christmas decoration is that you shouldnโt veer too far from the style that youโve chosen for the rest of your home.
If they were to, they would instantly feel out of sync and not at ease with the rest of your decor. Thatโs the golden ruleโdonโt cheat on your taste only because something cries out loud โit is Christmas timeโ.
What does it feel like to be an interior designer?
โข You have to be way more creative with unique ideas and new designs.
โข You have to take care of choosing colour palettes carefully without spoiling the looks of the house.
โข The colour and the decorating items must co-ordinate properly to give the complete neat look of the house.
โข You must produce knowledge regarding current trends and ideas and themes that are lit.
โข You must have your catalogue which contains special and unique interior ideas compared to other designers.
โข The interior designer has to take complete charge of designing the house from starting till completion of work.
โข The main aim is to give utmost satisfaction to their customers
The beginning of something new.
What are your limits? What do you see?
Someone will say it is an empty room, a piece of glass and some industrial material, while for an interior designer, this is the begging of a piece of art.

Decorating your workspace is not only aesthetically pleasing to the eye but also improves work productivity, mood and overall energy.
Working in an all white, plain environment is:
โข not stimulating
โข reduces productivity
โข increased risk of burn-out
This is not an environment we should be in!
We can maintain that monochromatic minimalistic space but by adding visual interest through textures in decor we have the ability to impact our mood and productivity. Try adding some flowers to a space and see what effect they have.
The feel and smell of leatherโฆ
Clothing, cases, books, wallets, and furniture. There is a reason behind using leather in most of our works. Historically saying, leather was the base material for most of our confections. It was durable, soft, warm and accessible.
Its mere aesthetics make it a popular choice for upholstery. Therefore leather happened to be widely used in interior designs also.
The use of leather for chairs and lounges is already quite widespread.
However, it is a welcome addition to any home. When choosing leather lounges and other furniture, be very careful to pick a colour that you will be able to clean and maintain.
The minimalistic design has been inspired and goes along with the well-known Scandinavian design. It is marked by a focus on clean, simple lines, minimalism, and functionality without sacrificing beauty. It first came to prominence in the 1950s, around the same time as modern style took hold in America and Europe.
Its focus is on simple lines and light spaces, devoid of clutter. It is nothing more than focusing on the things that matter. While this might sound a little bit hypocritical, the surroundings affect and define the way you live.
In terms of colours, the pastel-nude combination is great for those who love the minimalistic style in clothes and prefer something more monochromatic. It combines simplicity with a dose of contrast and uniqueness.โ

We also recommend to our clients with different generations in one home an ๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ช๐๐ฉ๐ bathroom. This may be one for an elder parent and another for teenagers sharing a room.
It also helps to prevent the ever popular bathroom arguments. ๐

Multigenerational Homes Tip #2
*๐๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ฌ:*
Let's face it, sometimes you just need your space. However living in a home with several generations; this can seem like an impossible feat.
Another great advice we offer our clients is creating additional living space for privacy or socializing.
A place where zoom meetings, guitar practice or just relaxing together as a family can all be possible. This means turning a den, a small room or a basement to an additional room for this function.

Multigenerational Home Design Tip #1
Accessibility:
One of the needs we address when creating multigenerational homes for families is focusing on "Accessibility". Your elder loved one may not be in a wheel chair but we know that creating spaces they can access easily makes them comfortable and the space more livable. It's important to create a ground level where all their functional and health needs are met.
~*Side note:* Accessibility can also mean having a different entrance for various members of the family as well~

Today as we celebrate Labour Day I think of my WHY...
My family is my WHY and while my boys tend to be in the background preferring not to have their picture taken, these two are always beside me ensuring that they are there for everything.
My daughters motivate me the most and hold me to the highest standard.
Let's Talk Forest Bathing: ๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฟ ๐ต๏ธ
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious or fatigued? I'm a strong believer in the power of nature; forest bathing is surroudning yourself with nature whether it's patterns, colours or even live plants. It is an opportuniy for you to get in touch with nature, clear your mind, restore your mood and energy.
Using live plants as well can help to simulate the senses with the beauty of the forest, scents of the trees and plants.
Leave a picture in the comments how you're forest bathing.
