Jen is a Metis/Cree/Ukrainian single mom who loves and gives so much to her community even if she doesn't have much to give. She runs Indigenous Pop Up Shop YYJ, hosting multiple fundraisers at each event and providing a peaceful, not-for-profit outlook; just wanting her community to thrive. She is the most thoughtful, generous, and selfless person I've ever met.

Earlier this month, Jen lost feeling in her lower body and is being hospitalized for Transverse Myelitis; a spinal lesion that causes extreme numbness and nerve symptoms. She has been there for over 15 days (as of May 25th).
Unfortunately, a few months ago Jen discovered her safe was broken into and her life savings were stolen. She had been working more to supplement that loss. She can no longer work as she is a community support worker that has to drive clients.
Upon leaving hospital (unknown when she will be discharged), Jen will have to hire a care-aide and cleaners, as well as physiotherapy appointments and medical aids. She will have to pay rent and buy food for herself and teen son as well.

Please help support Jen by buying her gorgeous beadwork and donating to the GoFundMe (link in my bio, please copy and share!). We are unsure of when she'll be able to work again, so the goal is to provide at least 3 months of rent, food, and care.
