Tonight’s meeting mental health respite housing. Such a big need for the system. It needs a bunch of compassionate hearts to listen and help the healing process. The hoops people have to jump.

No one can possibly understand the mind of someone with mental illness unless you are them who share mental illness yourself but even then everyone is different.

Mental illness is not the end of your world or anyone you love. Support is needed and with the hospitals splitting at the seams people are also very Reluctant to reach out to PES mental health unit at royal jubilee hospital.

Our police are on over load and I know for a fact their plate has been overload for over 5 years. I’ve heard them beg for more money. More money into policing should be done immediately with a back up crew called Diffusers. To handle the mental checks. Because police uniform scare the unhealthy brain.

Huge huge problem with kids aging out of the system. They are 19 and on their own to try to figure the rat race of rent and rising cost of food. A lot of kids give up because they don’t have the tools of a elder. My friends daughter 22 did it with 38 Tylenol cause Pes and housing were a issues.

I don’t know all the answers but I sure have a lot of great ideas. And I believe that change is needed. ASAP. My heart bleeds for the Seniors on the street. If I don’t try to make a difference who will. 

Vintage funk opens up again in Esquimalt November 1st. Will keep you posted on the address and hours . Store will be a lot smaller but saying that I kepted the Cadillac stuff for this location. Converse shoes are a always and lots of them, also add some vans and some funky cowboy boots or army boots. I love Funk and have the best eye for it. As many know from my big store I will carry both men’s and ladies fashions. From all eras but eighties are my favourite with rock shirts and high hip or flares. It’s ok to be different.
