We are loving our new modality of Detox Footbaths, so we’d like to share WHY we choose Optimum Energetics Systems. When deciding to add this modality, we did extensive research in order to bring what we believe is the BEST in the industry to you! Optimum Energetics:
~ is the most powerful on the market. Most units only operate up to 2.5 AMPS, we chose the professional model which operates as high as 5.5 AMPS ~ the machine offers an adjustable current control to compensate for different needs of those receiving treatments. Other competitors don’t always have this option and would have to add salt to the water or dump the water altogether. ~ Optimum units run at 10,000 Hertz, whereas most other competitors are at 60 Hertz. ~ we use a copper tub, instead of a plastic tub. Copper resonates a natural healing frequency and adds an additional conductor to the experience, making it that much more powerful. Although there are MANY more reasons, the two that sold us are the third party testing done that DOES NOT support any evidence on the colour charting as other competitors try to claim. And lastly, Optimum Energetics Systems holds their practitioners to a standard of having to complete an exam in order to obtain a certification, whereas other competitors don’t hold this same standard. What is Fascial Stretch Therapy? I get this question almost daily now and I would love to just have coffee with every single one of you to explain it all in depth and give you a demo. In a nutshell, Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is table based stretching that focuses on your fascia, a connective tissue that covers your entire body ~ head to toe, skin to bone, into your cells, etc. It’s intertwined, therefore the stretching isn’t targeted on one specific muscle or area, we treat the entire body. Each session is individualized to the client and then every session after that is customized based on what your body needs. It should never hurt! Sooo, like I said in the first post, I’m an old soul and this social media thing isn’t my forte! I JUST connected Facebook and Instagram (hence this post being late to the party on Facebook). Thanks for being patient and THANK YOU to those booking appointments! I’m booking the last week of September and into October right now. Evenings spots are limited.

Alrighty, some of you may want to cover your ears, I’m about to say the ‘F’ word ~~~ FALL! 🍁As September approaches (in literally one week!) and Fall creeps up, many of us get back into routines, set new goals, and do our best to set up a healthy lifestyle for the rest of the year. 💪 Why not include reflexology AND/OR fascial stretch therapy as part of your schedules and healthy routines?! Hi everyone!

First things first, I should probably introduce myself. My name’s Rebecca and I’m the face behind maybelle holistic therapies. I’m a self proclaimed old soul, so this social media thing is definitely not my forte - I’m sure we’re going to enjoy a laugh or two at my expense while I navigate these waters!

I went to high school in Walkerton and then ventured off to college and university where I got my degree in Human Kinetics. I then went off the beaten path and was not in my field whatsoever. My passion has always been to help people live a happy, wholesome life. Fast forward to today, and that’s what I do! I’m a reflexologist back in my hometown of Walkerton. 💫👣

Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive treatment. It’s based on the concept that there are reflexes on your feet that connect to organs, glands, and other body parts, assisting your body to work at its optimal ability. If you’re curious to learn more, reach out, I’d love to chat!

I also am getting my recertification in fascial stretch training and am currently booking clients for the last week of August.

When I’m not working, I love being anywhere near water, spending time with the ones that matter the most, and hanging with Berkley, my five pound Yorkie shown in the picture!
