Kaoshikii: The Yogic Dance
Kaoshikii, the yogic dance, consists of eighteen steps performed rhythmically. It starts with the dancer in the initial position: hands raised together over the head. Then, to the beat of "dhin, dhin,..., ta, ta", the dancers begin their steps, placing the big toe behind the heel of the other foot. The sequence concludes with two firm stamps of the feet on the ground. Kaoshikii can be danced for as many rounds as desired.
