First off, I hope everyone had a joyful Eid!
It has been beautiful seeing my muslim friends and family develop good habits and lose bad habits as well as grow their connection with Allah during the month of Ramadan. I personally find myself more at peace and grateful during the holy month, and I believe that part of the reason we feel happy during Ramadan is because of the healthy habits we develop and the connection we maintain with Allah.

Now that Ramadan is over, I find that we tend to gradually go back to our old habits and lose the beautiful connection we developed with God.
I guess I’m writing this to remind everyone and myself of how happy and at peace we felt during the holy month. I also want to bring our attention to the correlation between our peace of mind and our connection with Allah.

We all know to follow Allah’s rules for the sake of our afterlife as we all want to end up in paradise and not in hell. But we don’t realize how big of an impact following these rules has on our Dunia lives as well - the amount of bad decisions, heartbreaks and damages that are avoided when we live by the Quran and Sunnah.

May Allah accept all of our good deeds, forgive us for our wrongdoing and keep us in His guidance.
