Our response to ‘s decision to close theatre company. Well we are deeply disappointed with this decision, but we do not see it as the end. As the Society of Dramatic Arts our job is to be a voice for the students, and we want to hear what you have to say. Use your voice, don’t let this happen quietly. Our condolences go out to all affected by this decision.

Our statement on the University of Windsor’s decision to close theatre company. This decision deeply impacts all the students at University of Windsor, and as student council we are here to be a voice for the students. We encourage everyone to voice how they feel, to use our platforms and express our concerns. Our condolences go out to all those impacted by this loss.

The Grand Finale Cabaret is happening April 19th at 7:00pm, in the SoCA Armouries. There will be song and dance and pure romance! 🎶🕺💋

The 2023-2024 school year is coming to a close and oh my, what a fantastic year it was! To celebrate the end of the year we have a few more things coming up!!

On April 4th and 5th you can vote in your new 2024-2025 council!! 🎭🗳️
On April 6th we can celebrate the amazing year we’ve had with the at the Masquerade at the Moulin Rouge Gala! 💃🌹
On April 19th you can come watch some brilliant performers at our final cabaret of the year, the Grand Finale if you will! 🎶🎷

We are excited to announce that the ONP for Little Women will be held at TQLA (481 Ouellette Ave) on Friday March 15th, 2024.

CALLING ALL BA DRAMA MAJORS 📣📣📣 Your BA Representative ._.0801 is hosting an event where she wants to hear what you have to say! With how much there is to learn in the BA program, and how small the program is we know it can be hard to find others in the BA program and also to have your voice heard! This event is to bring together the BA program and build a community of peers! All programs are welcome, and we hope to see you there!!!

Another semester, another Cabaret. To celebrate the holiday of love, Club SoDA is throwing a Valentine’s day Cabaret. Send in a digital audition for a chance to show off your talent and be a part of yet another amazing show! It could be a solo, a duet, or even a group, everyone is welcome. Calling all gamers!!! Club SoDA is hosting a video games tournament December 5th during the arcade. In this tournament you enter and play against the best gamers we have to offer for a chance to win and get a cash prize!!

Come to the SoDA Arcade and practice your skills, then enter the tournament to win! The game for the tournament is Smash Bros. Please contact Club SoDA if you have any questions or are interested in signing up for the tournament, plus you can pick your mains and add custom controls. Hope to see you there :)

SoDA, we are hosting our very own gala on April 16th at the Olde Walkerville Theatre. Join us for a magical night of dinner, dancing, drinks, & awards!

Doors open at 5:30pm and festivities begin at 6pm. There will be a bar but you must be 19+ to purchase alcohol.

Put on your thinking caps because Club SoDA is hosting a trivia night this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8pm! The event will take place in the studio theatre, doors at 6pm and the games begin at 6:15pm.

There is a $2 entry fee, and you can have up to 5 members on your team. You can talk to a Club SoDA representative or come by our office hours to sign up in advance or pay at the door.

Our trivia topics include: 2000s nostalgia, musical theatre, general knowledge, name that tune + more!

There will be a prize and SoDA swag bag for the winning team, so get your team going and put your heads together to win! Anyone from the university is welcome. See you there!
