Meet Kim Hodges, Physiotherapist!
Kim started her career working at HSC Winnipeg mostly in orthopaedic physiotherapy. In 2007 she joined Nova and learned how pelvic floor muscle dysfunction can greatly impact psychological, social, and physical health. Fortunately, Kim also discovered physiotherapy plays a huge role in the prevention, improvement, and often resolution of pelvic floor muscle-related symptoms through individualized education, manual therapy, and active exercise. Kim's experience in orthopaedic physiotherapy and exercise instruction, along with her passion for sports, health, and wellness have been invaluable to her practice at Nova.
Kim has tons of experience working with men, women, and children, and is looking forward to helping you and/or your loved ones!

Meet Lynne Gagnon, Physiotherapist!
Lynne knew from early on that she wanted to impact people’s lives by making pelvic floor function and dysfunction known in the community and by providing services in French to her beloved Francophone community of Manitoba.
She has been active in the community helping to raise awareness about pelvic floor issues and how to access help for these frequently unspoken conditions. Her passion is to educate people about what they can do to manage and improve their conditions. She is a busy mom, but always finds the time to share her knowledge and experience.
Lynne offers bright and early morning appointments and can’t wait to help you start living your best life without having to plan it around washrooms!

The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) updated their definition of pain in 2020 to make it clear that pain is an output of our brain that ALWAYS involves a combination of sensory (physical) AND emotional factors.
That means pain will vary based on your previous experiences, current emotional state, physical capabilities and more.
Because of that, treating pain is much more complex than simply “taking the right medication” or “getting the right treatment modality”.
Treating pain typically involves a multidisciplinary approach with:
📚 Understanding pain and your own body
🧠 Behavioural interventions (sleep, diet, mindset)
💪 Appropriate exercises
💊 Appropriate medications
Physiotherapists are highly educated professionals to help you with the first 3 topics! Book your appointment now and start changing your life for the better!
We’re a mask-friendly facility!
Mask are no longer required but are still available at the clinic should you wish to wear one, and your therapist will be happy to wear one during your appointment if that would also make you more comfortable.
The financial, social, and emotional impact of chronic pain grows every day.
Physio can help you and your loved ones live better despite pain.
We can help with:
🦴 Arthritis Pain
🦴 Repetitive Use Pain

Tami is passionate about teaching and learning and that passion comes through with every patient interaction. She is deeply compassionate and loves to get to know her patients; she believes their stories are the most important pieces of their rehab puzzle.
