Shael has been gracing the decks at various events in Winnipeg and Western Canada for two decades. In recent years she's made noteworthy appearances playing at several world renowned music festivals and iconic venues. Shael has continually pushed herself as a DJ and quality house music selector becoming both a fan favourite and a respected DJ amongst her peers.

Shael plays from 10:15pm to 11:30pm at Little Brown Jug on December 31st.

A couple of weeks ago I had the honour of opening for the legendary Nightmares on Wax here in Winnipeg as part of his Canadian tour. He was very kind and gracious, and of course played an amazing set for us! Big love to Timbre Concerts for bringing him here and having myself and Wanda G play!

As always, it makes me very, very happy to see people come together for a night of proper house music. More of this please 💕

New mix up on SoundCloud care of the lovely Amber Long for her LIA series! This is a very cool project which showcases the musical talents of femme artists from around the globe. And it really stays true to focusing on the ✨music✨ which I love.

The theme is often in the realm of deeper, progressive house sounds, and although I was encouraged to be ME, I thought it would be nice to slow it down (just a bit!) and delve a little deeper for a change.

This mix features a lot of beautiful tunes I absolutely love but don’t always have the opportunity to play as I’ve been on the faster, energetic bompty house tip as of late. However, there is always a special place in my heart for deep and dreamy music and I had a magical time recording this. Thank you Amber! 💕

I’m so excited for the musical inspiration and discoveries that Bass Coast Festival always provides, it’s one of my favourite aspects of this festival aside from the super fun and creative art installations, the beautiful location, and the amazing energy throughout. I appreciate so much the level of detail and organization that goes into facilitating this magical weekend for everyone. It’s why I really enjoyed being a Bass Coast volunteer in 2019, and now I have the pleasure of being part of it as an artist!
