Michael Lemer Pottery
All my work is either hand made, or wheel thrown. Even for "production" ware, each piece has it's own distinct personality.
Using primarily self-mixed glazes, my colors are unique and very comfortable. Best known for my combination of emerald green glaze which breaks blue over my golden brown glaze. Look for my work in select retail outlets as well as major craft shows throughout Winnipeg and Manitoba as well as into Saskatchewan, Ontario and Alberta.
Love them custom orders
One customer asked for my standard chocolate with blue/green drip mug but with a maple leaf attached.
Shown with and without the maple leaf. Great effect. Something new to add to the collection.
Love them custom orders. Something different and fun!!!
Had an order for a custom bathroom sink with specific colour and size specifications.
Always make an extra just in case.
One was just picked up, the other is available for sale or as a sample.

Fuzed crackle glass in ceramic bowls.
You see through the fractured clear glass to the glazed surface below.
These bowls are made with a very course grit stoneware which is a great contrast to the smooth glass fuzed in during the second firing.
When these come out of the kiln the glass is usually one solid sheet which begins to fracture as it cools and then for the next few days.
When the sun hits them, they sparkle like rippled water in the sun.
Every one is unique. No two are ever the same. And they are soooooo cool!

Something new and different.
Fresh out of the kiln. Two new tea sets and a new glaze variation called rust.
First is the 30 oz straight sided tea pot with 4 new “short” style mugs.
Then a 20 oz straight sided tea pot with 2 barrel mugs.
Tea pots and mugs soon to be available separately.

What a wonderful time over the last 10 days.
Thanks to my fellow vendors and who were a pleasure to work with.
Thanks to the FDV staff who were terrific.

And thanks to Louise Anderson for taking a great picture of me.

For the true “Coffee Cconnoisseur.
The Costa Rican Vandola. A truly unique coffee experience.
You’ll find a valve at the neck of the Vandola, where the bottom of the filter paper will sit. This allows the coffee to be infused faster, as well as creating a better oxygenation. The end result is a beverage with more defined flavors and a predominant sweetness.
My version 2.0 fits the all-important Chemex coffee filter.
Chemex® filters are 20-30% heavier than standard filters and remove even the finest sediment particles as well as the undesirable oils and fats. The formulation of the filter permits the proper infusion time - not too slow, not too fast
These are truly unique for those who love their coffee or for a collector.
Please direct any orders or enquiries to my email - [email protected]. Thanks
