Felicity and a few other pieces are available at Warehouse Artworks in the Exchange, why haven't you gone to see them yet?!
Felicity by Ava Foster
A few of my favorite pieces are Warehouse Artworks! I brought these ones in because you really need to view them in person to appreciate them fully. You'll see them as soon as you walk in. Thanks for the chat and such a great spot in the store Marielle!
Special Christmas ornament commission of someone's sweet pea ✨️
One sweet circle Cherry serving board is still avªilable! She's 13" wide w/ hand carved tear detail on top, and an elegantly beveled edge.
I encourage daily use with my kitchen wares, but I understand if you feel a little precious with them 💜 they need love and upkeep to stay in good shape. Hand washing and applying oil or "wood butter" when they start to look dry will keep your wood wares in wonderful shape.
I'm nearing the end of my ebony and these may be the last 2 black cats that come from it 🙀
One's spoken for and the other is av@ilable if you get in touch with me soon enough that I don't fall in love and keep it for myself 🤭
These Carved Tear Cherry Serving Boards will be available only for a few more days until the Saturday, the 19th (in-store or online) for
After that, you very well may never see them again! I’m discontinuing kitchen items outside of WIP in favour of critters, oddities, & mythological creatures for the coming year.
These boards are BEAUTIFUL and lovely to have for daily use and/or special occasions. The circle & square options both measure 13” ➡️ which is also the length of my Legacy Spoons, of which there aren’t many! This is the kinda spoon you will pass on to your next of kin with proper care. Robust AF 😙👌🏻
I can’t say enough about the larger cherry boards either. Such a good investment 🙏🏻I promise you will not be sorry you splurged 😘 You’re worth it… and if you must gift it, so be it 😂
Y’all are great 💕 Thank you for the ongoing interest & support in my creative endeavours
My serving boards, spoons, & hand sculptures are waiting for you ! You only have 8️⃣ more days to shop them here before the end of
There are 20 other Canadian makers & artists' work available now until the 19th.
I'll add my wishlist in the stories today 😘
“Touching Truth” ~ Butternut, paint, gold foil
Achieving & still reaching is the feeling
I dropped off this piece in shop in prep for and I can’t wait for you to see it in person!!

Starting in on a backyard session
I had a great time on this podcast, check it out!
Slightly larger than life size hand.
..I suppose there's people out there with hands this large but it's definitely bigger than my own and mine are an ample big for a female 😋
I'm thinking she needs golden finger tips, yes?

So true...

Her name is "Choice"
We've been making choices every day, which is how we find ourselves in the life we are currently living. We don't all have the same choices, and sometimes we choose to feel like there's only one option... but that's never the case. We live in a world of free will where the powers that be try to distract you from this fact, but it remains the case.
Even when you don't like the options, the fact that you've got choices gives you the opportunity to own them and create a life with better ones for yourself and others.
I'm not sure how this is going to land with some of you. I'm happy to engage in respectful dialogue in the comments if you feel moved to respond 🖤
To all those who have encouraged me in person and online, those who have generously shared my posts with others, those who have my work in their homes, & those who have gifted carvings of mine to loved ones : I couldn't and wouldn't do it without you! 🖤 The best is yet to come and I couldn't be happier to have you along with me as my work continues to evolve. It's because of your support that I continue to take creative risks.
You're the best 🤙🏻give yourselves a hand
Work in progress for in November. I'll have a small collection of wistful hands available along with a few other new designs and, of course, some spoons for the holidays.
Who wants to hear about why this guy has fingers for legs? Like & leave a comment if you are curious and I'll make a video to explain the concept ;)
Guesses and other commentary are welcome as well!
I’ve already started working on some amazing objects & art for this incredible opportunity put together by Meg Does Pottery and Nina from HUT K!

I know the coolest cats 😏
Meet & 's Vince, the prince.
This crown was a collaboration between my dad & I. Down the road I to make a full size crown from a tree trunk by hollowing out the middle so that the growth rings are continuous around. This was my *successful* trial run!! 😄 We rummaged through the wood pile at the cottage, picked a small sample piece, cut it to length, figured out how to secure it on the drill press and tried both a forstner bit and a hole saw before we got through it.
Now I can let this idea germinate while I go work on other projects for the fall & winter.
Two of my lovelies creatures have arrived early & safe to to participate in their invitational mask exhibition that opens August 9th!
It’s such an honour to be amoung these other talented artists and what a wild thing to see so many masks in one place!! I only wish I could be there to see all the other pieces that mine will be among… luckily we’ll all be able to check it out online soon enough :)
I feel so freak’n lucky 🥰 thank you all for the support and spreading the word 🙏🏻
Moon Lady ~ 2022
“What’s her story?” I’ve been asked this a lot. She feels a little bit like a self portrait with her long nose although I was reading Circe by Madeline Miller when I made her and I think some of those feelings came through her as well.
I choose not to sand any of her and I love the facets of her face. I’m still fairly new to painting pieces and getting over that fear has been so freeing. If you’ve seen any of my furniture, you know I LIVE for colour.
Thanks for following along 💜 and as always, if you see anything you like in my stories or feed please feel free to reach out for availability & pric1ng :)

My keychain broke a few days ago so I turned a Rosewood charm I carry in my purse into a new one 🥰 I love that now I'll get to see it more than the rare occasion when I'd dig to the bottom of my bag for something!
Took this bird to the dog park, risked getting woodticks in the tall grass and had my roommate take some photos of us in the wild 😄 Does this mean I can write off gas for the trip to the park? 😜 Two birds with one stone

It was such a curious thing to me that this mermaid carving came out with a pr3gnant belly, then I remembered what's been going on south of the border and it made perfect sense.
I have been sure to not let myself get swept away with despair for the loss to those women because I know that's not any way to impact change in the world... but the subconscious is powerful and this mermaid is proof of that to me. I won't speak of it to give speed and power to those heavy thoughts so instead they seep out of me creatively. This feels to me like a better way to communicate about such challenges.
It's been a while since I whipped up any serving boards and I recently acquired a beautiful, wide plank of cherry....
Should I start in on some or is it more of a fall/ winter holiday thing? 🤔
🙏🏻Weigh in it for me, will ya ⬇️
