Family Dynamics was originally conceived in 1936 to meet the needs of Winnipeggers where gaps existed in the social safety net. Our broad range of strengths-based programs and services are linked together with “family” at the core. We are committed to building family and community capacity
Our services are available to all Winnipeggers regardless of social or economic circumstances. Most services
We are incredibly saddened to hear of the passing of this incredible man. He is said to have.”changed our country “ with his commitment to truth and reconciliation. He has paved the way, now let us continue to walk this path.
United Way Kick Off . Thank you to our committee for organizing today’s kick off and to the United Way folks for taking the time to come connect with us today .
United Way’s vision and mission says“ We believe everyone in Winnipeg deserves a chance to have a good life. “ and their funding helps some of our programs ( our 7 Family Resource Centres , Counseling Department etc) do just that . Thank you , we couldn’t do it without you ! matters

🌟 Self-Care Update: When You’re Feeling Overwhelmed 🌟
If you're feeling overwhelmed, remember that self-care is key. Here are some ways to help you find balance and calm:
Speak to a Friend 🗣️ - Share how you're feeling with someone you trust. Sometimes, just talking it out can make a big difference.
Do Some Breathing Exercises 🌬️ - Deep breaths can help ground you and reduce stress.
Step Outside for a Walk 🚶♂️ - Fresh air and a change of scenery can work wonders for your mood.
Get to Bed Earlier 🛏️ - Prioritize restful sleep to recharge your mind and body.
Take Some Time to Relax 🧘♀️ - Whether it's reading a book or taking a bath, make time for activities that help you unwind.
Take a Break from Social Media 📵 - Unplugging can give your mind a much-needed rest from digital stress.
Start Saying No More 🚫 - It's okay to set boundaries and protect your time and energy.
Be Kind to Yourself 💖 - Practice self-compassion and remember that you’re doing your best.
Your well-being is important. Take these steps to care for yourself and find your calm. 🌿💙

Our Tuxedo Family Resource Centre is getting a new playground and the best part is the community and kiddos will be consulted to see what they'd like to see there!👍🤸♀️😍
Thank you to our government for their commitment and for engaging with the community. Outdoor play is so important for development, socialization and health, so we are thrilled and can't wait!

It is with sadness (and gratitude) that we say goodbye to our Family Child Care Training Program. Since we started in 2014, we have trained 218 people and have expanded the number of licensed child care spaces in Winnipeg,
Currently these folks have created 484 spaces across the city.
It’s been fulfilling and rewarding to see them open their licensed family childcare homes and in many circumstances continue their post-secondary early childhood education to further develop their skills .
Our job was to train and reduce the barriers, but they truly did all the heavy lifting . We are left with wonderful memories and deep respect for their commitment, hard work and big hearts. 🤍
Thank you to all!
