New challenge: I am going to try to grow this page and see what I can do to it. Who still uses facebook anyway? Let's see!
Creating a digital product is testing and testing and testing.
A course is always changing, a product is always changing, and a service is always changing.
I wish I could be right the first time I created this product.
I made a community, but nobody was using it, and neither did I.
But there was something I was using and everyone here was too.
We were committed to the Silent Work Sessions!
โญThe best part of The Launch Pod is the Silent Work Sessions!โญ
It took me a while to realize that, I should have noticed that earlier. When you are too close, it's hard to see it.
So I changed the concept here.
Not a community per se, now it's an Accountability Challenge.
Because creating a course is a challenge! And we need accountability otherwise is us against all the other things we need to do.
I simplified and I think it's better.

Are you tired of the long webinar culture?
How many times have you signed up for a so-called non-fluff, non-bs, only value masterclass, just to get a whole minute of one a-ha moment spread on a 60 minute "masterclass"?
These people need a dictionary.
No, I don't want to hear you talk about yourself for 20 minutes or 15 slides.
No, I don't want to learn about Jane Doe sob story and how you help her.
No, I don't read 10 slides of testimonials.
Do you know what's important?
Deliver what you promised.
A "How-to" is not a "What and Why".
Stop wasting everyone's time with a masterclass that could be an email. Or a sales page.
Do you agree?
If not, why do you do your masterclass the way you do?

This is the QUEST!
Not question.
When I was a freelancer animator, 100% of my clients came from referral because networking was my second nature. While most of animators were in their animation clusters, I was at the school socializing with everyone. And I am a shy person, but I like to talk about art, movies and games.
And for a long time I was the only animator most people knew. I used to introduce myself as "Hey, I'm Rita, I am studying animation" and that was good enough. When they need an animator for a project they would think "wait a minute, I know an animator... Rita" and they would call me. That was it, super passive, but steady.
Now I only do animation for fun. Once a year I still get some people on my inbox asking if I still do it.
To find a client, you need to tell people what you do. Yeah! That simple!
I know it can be pretty cringy sometimes. When I decided to become a Virtual Assistant, I message everyone I knew, ex-coworkers, I even told my family doctor, no shame here.
I needed clients!
The message was pretty simple, "Hi NAME, I lost my job because of the pandemic, so now I am offering services as a Virtual Assistant, here are the tasks I can do, if you need help with any of these or know anyone who might need, let's talk ". Of course this wasn't a mass message, I would message like 5 people per day.
And like magic, I got my first referral.
Meanwhile, I was being helpful on 2 Facebook Communities (that only good part of Facebook) and most of my clients came from there, and then they referred me to other people.
How do you know if they will be good clients? They trust you.
Clients who don't trust your skills are the worst. Clients who don't know what they want are the worst.
Good clients sign the contract, good clients pay on time, good client don't contest every decision you make. Good clients trust you.
And you make sure to make them love you because they will act like a referral machine without you ask.
But just to be safe, do ask.๐
You have the chance to be a decent human being in your business, choose to be good!โฃ

๐ | Stop sending automated DM's to random peopleโฃ
Who are telling people they will make sales by arriving at the requested tab on DM's?โฃ
They all look the same "This account is looking to collab with you, follow them and tell I sent you there" or "Hi how are you" (usually men, private accounts, or new accounts - none is following you) or a block of text about their course. โฃ
โฃ
๐ช๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐จ ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐๐: What about using your own Instagram to help your own followers or even paying ads if you are so desperate to make sales.โฃ

๐ | Don't invite people to your podcast if your only intention is to grow your FB Groupโฃ
I fell for it... I felt so special, nobody has ever invited me to a podcast. I booked a call to learn more, just to have that call cancelled and then moved to a FB group. And I fell for it again... and I noticed comments on groups that looked the same of the invitation I received. โฃ
โฃ
๐ช๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐จ ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐๐: If you want to invite people to your podcast, have an application in place, with everything the person needs. โฃ
If you want to grow your FB group, be upfront about it! โฃ
โฃ
๐ | Don't add FB Groups to your freebie without the consent of the owner of the group. I am in 20 groups on FB and from time to time, some get an influx of people who were only looking at promoting their business without giving any value first. If you think you are helping those groups with a bunch of people that are not their target market, you are so wrong. I see groups get archived because it grew out of control. โฃ
โฃ
๐ช๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐จ ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐๐: Ask for permission! Only add them if you have permission.โฃ

How to choose 3-5 hashtags to each post? Swipe or Keep reading๐
SEO means Search Engine Optimization.
Since the end of 2019 you can search keywords in the search bar, not just hashtags.
That's why we add keywords to our bio, to increase discoverability.
So many people still don't use this, if you are one of these people, time to change it!
I've been working with SEO since 2015, and usually with blogs, we choose long-tail keywords to help blog posts ranking high on Google.
But Instagram is not Google. Here is my disclaimer:
Yesterday I found out that it's best to use 3-5 hashtags instead of 30, because it can confuses the algorithms.
I noticed how hashtags are working poorly in the last 6 months,so after finding out about this is new info, I had to test it! I am taking this week to test it, and you can do it too.
With blogs, we choose the keywords by posts.
Successful blogs have niches, so you are targeting an audience that will benefit from whatever you have to say.
Think about your Instagram account as your website (if you have one, an extension, then).
And each post equals a blog post that will help your audience to understand all you do and how can you help them.
๐ซSo instead of choosing 10 branded hashtags, 5 big 5 medium 5 small hashtags, and 5 for the post, think about what type of content your audience wants to learn about.
๐Which hashtags you can choose for that post that will convey the perfect message for your entire account?
So when your ideal client finds your account and interacts with it, you get points with the algorithms.
Example:
What I know about my audience:
They are ๐๐จ๐๐๐ก๐๐ฌ, they are overwhelmed by everything they need to do to get more clients, they are looking for an ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐ฒ but the most important part is: they are looking for a ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ง๐ญ that can do all that for them
Just think like your niche. Why do they need you? How you can help them? Target the post, and find the hashtags to that post, but don't forget about your account. What is your account about?
