The start of a new year is always a good time to review your skincare routine.

How strict is your skincare routine? Do you follow the same pattern every day? Do you get confused with which product to apply first? You’re not the only one.

Here’s your cheat sheet to start the new year off with the right skincare routine. Some people also have variations, depending on their specific skincare concerns or goals.

Step 1: Cleanse – this is a non-negotiable. AM and PM Cleanse for a min of 30 seconds. This makes a huge difference in your skin!

Step 2 AM: EverActive Vitamin C & E – We encourage everyone to add Vitamin C&E to their daily routine – use it as a serum.

Step 2 PM - Retinol or a hydrating Hyaluronic acid serum like the AlumierMD Ultimate Boost Serum.

Step 3: Moisturizer AM and PM– especially with dry winter air, a moisturizer is super important to protect your skin's barrier function and keep your skin feeling soft and supple. (Some people may choose to skip the morning moisturizer and opt to go directly to sunscreen)

Step 4 AM only: Sunscreen – another non-negotiable. Bookend your cleansed skin with protection from free radicals, sun damage and blue light.
