…. inspired by underwater life structures merged with the fascination of magnetic collisions and fracturing. The inner shape attracts coloured glass particles that collide, shatter and fuse together on the outside leaving semi-melted floating glass on its surface. The sculptures interact with each other through its figuration and nuances. This process of glass magnetism creates infinite patterns and surfaces revitalizing the rigid nature of the material.

FLORE currently on view as part of MAGNETIC exhibition… inspired by underwater marine life structures, this series explores the outer surface of glass. This unique “glass - magnetism” of colliding, shattering and fusing particles makes each object and sculpture of this serie unique.

Challenging the material I’m assembling an object that redefines the conventional way of working with glass. The applied colours in multiple layers interfuse with the core of the object. This unique “glass - magnetism” of colliding, shattering and fusing particles makes each object and sculpture of this serie unique.”

Starting today the MAGNETIC exhibition …

In my most recent body of work I am focusing on surface interactions. My inspiration from my newest serie comes from a long research about magnetic fields, their collision and fractures.
The inner shapes attracts the coloured particles that collide, shatter and melt together on the outside leaving overheated, melted and floating glass molecules on its surface. The sculptures at the same time interact with each other attracted by its different colours. This process inspired by magnetism creates an infinite number of patterns and surface landscapes letting the viewer interact individually with the perception of the objects.
