This morning, a team of Dream Doctors began a 5 day relief mission to support the Ukrainian refugees in Moldova.
The mission will comprise of hands-on direct work in the Kishinev refugee camp as well as traveling to the Ukraine-Moldova border passage to assist in the front line of incoming refugees.
Another team will arrive at the end of the week as we have been flooded with requests from various organizations to aid their activity along the Ukrainian borders.
One of our core activities as an organization is to contribute to humanitarian relief efforts around the world during crises, war and natural disasters.
Your urgent support is needed for this mission and to strengthen the future aid missions.

During their visit to Rwanda, Dream Doctors Dush and Zoya taught Medical Clowning techniques helping improve medical treatment receptivity to the super talented Rwandan Acrobats.
The workshop concluded with an on-the-job training at the University Teaching Hospital of Kigali CHUK.
Their journey in Kigali also included shows to the children of Gisimba Orphanage and Kimisagara Youth Center.

After their successful mission to Macedonia, Dream Doctors Noam and Rotem traveled to neighboring Albania to train more medical teams. The clowning tools taught to doctors, nurses, and social workers will help them to work with patients in their hospitals.
Rotem described the very special experience: "On the first day when they arrived they were shy, not fully understanding what clowning was, and slowly their hearts opened, and the little child inside burst out. The days of practicum at the end of each workshop were very exciting. In the summary conversation, one nurse said she was already realizing what she had learned in her shifts at the hospital, and that the atmosphere had already changed. Another nurse said she gave a lecture to her team, and introduced humor and lightness she never thought she had. One doctor said she started to use these tools with her child, and that helps her cope with him, and more ... In short, a pleasure!" 💪🏻🤡❤️

Les Dream Doctors sont des professionnels qui interviennent au moment où nous sommes les plus vulnérables. Ils sont formés à accompagner les patients, mais aussi leur entourage, contribuant ainsi aux soins du corps et de l'âme. Leur présence est nécessaire et le soutient apporté aux équipes médicales est conséquent.
Le projet est exclusivement financé par des dons, les Friends of the Dream Doctors sont donc essentiels à la pérennité de l'action des Dream Doctors et à l’assurance que ce supplément d'âme soit à portée de main de tous.
