With 1.4+ million members worldwide, LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL is the world's largest service club organization. Lions Clubs are based on the idea of friendship, peace and cooperation. Our vision: making the world a happier place by serving others.

Within this framework, we are an English-speaking club here in Geneva. It is our mission to contribute to local, national and international communities and to serve our fellow beings. We are active in hands-on volunteering as well as in supporting different associations or special causes through organizing an annual fundraising event.

Who are we? Our membership is very diverse in regard to nationality, background and life experience: Swiss nationals, staff of international and nongovernmental organizations, employees of multi-national companies and academia, artists, teachers… Together we are a mirror of the vibrant texture of the multi-facetted Geneva community. What do we do? We meet from September to June, usually twice a month at the Restaurant of the Hotel Manotel Royal, Geneva (lunch at 12h every 2 nd Tuesday, and dinner at 19h on the last Thursday of the month).
