Hello my dear people,

Marriage is beautiful and there is no one size fits it all.

On the subject matter of spirituality, read this from my latest book:

“As for me, I love God, and it was important for me to marry someone
who loved God as much. We both see things through the eyes of God.
We go to church, but we do not believe that not going has negative
consequences. We love being in church because it energises, refreshes
and revitalises us. We love learning from others and hearing the wisdom
and analysis of preachers and pastors. In addition, I teach pre-teens in
my church’s Sunday school.

Furthermore, we believe that the doctrines of each church were
created by man according to the interpretation of those who founded the church. Therefore, we like to study the word by ourselves and not settle
entirely on what we have heard someone say. We believe that if we pray from now until eternity without doing the works required, we are wasting our time. Ultimately, we believe that faith and works go together.

My husband and I did not have a church marriage, but a church thanksgiving. We went to court and did a traditional wedding. We both believed that since the court marriage is the legal one, there wasn’t a need to go to church when we had planned a marriage blessing/thanksgiving. At the
traditional wedding and court marriage, we were joined in the name of God, and for us, that was all that mattered.

The approach to our union worked for us because we were in alignment, and we chose each other because we follow the same spiritual beliefs.

Dear Single,

Many people say the word love but they do not understand what it means.

And when others do know what it means, they have not grasped it indeptly to daily apply it.

Love is active
It is a doing word
If you do not do, it will not work

Love is powerful
Love is intentional

Have you chosen someone who have the same understanding of love as you.

You cannot say love is not enough when you have not loved yourself

You cannot say love os not enough when you have not applied kindness.

You cannot say love is not enough when you have not been patience, humble, thanksful, forgiving, selfless and much more.

Dear Single,

Truly, there are complexities in marriage. Wait until you are in it and you will have a clear picture.

Does this mean marriage is not sweet? No.

Am I saying it is not worth it? Absolutely no.

Am I saying it is not beautiful? Oh no.

However, be prepared.

Prepare to adapt to these complexities.

Prepare your mind to stand with your betterhalf.

Prepare your mind to enjoy marriage.

Prepare your mind, knowing that your partner will not be perfect.

Be prepared to exercise patience, have understanding, cultivate humility, face reality, accept responsibility, seek improvement, nurture hope, develop a open mind, leverage problems, and endure bad experience.

Marriage is beautiful, but have you chosen someone, with whom together, you can make it so.

It is good to learn, after all, you are learning from me. However, be careful about who you are and what you learn.

Irrespective of what you hear about marriage, never be fearful, but be careful.

Be careful to emulate your parents’ marriage, or one you think is awesome.

Marry someone with this understanding and if they do not have the understanding yet, are they really to learn?

Your journey will be blissful if you understand and accept that the journey is unique to both of you and that God is the Head.

I bring you a testimony and a reminder of God's love.

A close family friend has been basking in breakthroughs after many years of waiting, challenges, and a problem after the other.

I am elated because the storm is over. Yes! It is over, because these challenges help us to remember the victories we have enjoyed. This alone, shows that the storm is over.

Oh my dears,

God is real.
God is sure.
God is merciful.
God is compassionate.
God is gracious.

One wonderful thing about God is that no one can rush Him. He makes things beautiful in His own time.

My beautiful people, what is the challenge? You will overcome it if you keep the faith and consistently walk in obedience. Stay focused, trust God, and trust His process.

Remember, for His anger endureth but a moment; in His favour is life: Weeping may endure for a night, buy joy cometh in the morning.

Welcome to a new and beautiful week.

Do you know that attending pre-marital counselling does not mean that a marriage should go-ahead?

I once had a conversation with a marriage counsellor who told me that, out of her conscience, she asked a couple to put their plans on hold and work out their differences which were too numerous. It was clear to her during the counselling that the lady knew what she was getting into but she could not care less. She wanted to be married by all means.

Dear single,

Please refuse the urge to want to marry a man or a woman that is not right for you.

Pre-marital counselling will do you a lot of good. Open your eyes to see, your ears to hear, your inner mind to understand, your spirit to discern, and before counselling is over or once it is concluded, still look at each other and ask, should we be embarking on this journey together?

Life, to those who listens.

Happy new month my beautiful people,

A gentle reminder of the unfailing word from the Psalmist:

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

My emphasis here is on verse 3.

Be rest assured that God has not forgotten you.

You said, “ I have listened to God. I have obeyed. I have done the works. I am praying, but I have no results”.

You are frustrated.
Your strength is failing.
Your mind is weary.

God is responding - that you are a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit (emphasis on) IN HIS SEASON.

And when it does, hear this promise:

Your leaf will not wither.
And whatsoever you do shall prosper.

Rest in these unfailing words.

God is coming true in the time He has appointed for you.

Keep the faith.

There are a little over 700 hundred of us here. Whilst I do not know everyone, I sincerely appreciate your following, especially those who engage and learn from my posts. I am equally learning from a lot of your comments.

For those new to this page, at my leisure, I am a life transformation teacher and writer. I became a certified behavioural analyst under the tutelage of John Maxwell in 2021. 

I have a passion for impacting lives through inspirational writing. Drawing from biblical principles, I am a strong advocate of love, inner peace, and contentment. I believe that life comes in seasons and that whatever season you find yourself, you should do three things:

Embrace the season;
See God in it; and 
Learn from it.
 

Furthermore, my expertise lies in empowering individuals, couples, singles, and youths to apply and walk in principles that change lives and bring about transformation.

This season, my focus is on the singles. Very soon, I shall be publishing a book titled "The adequate preparation."
