This enchanting, handcrafted lamp has been shaped using traditional steam bending techniques and is delicately polished and sturdily put together. It consists of a subtle cherry wood structure that holds an opal-shaped glass shade. Cesta is an excellent object and lamp, perfect for placing on a tabletop or resting on the floor, and the light can be dimmed according to preference.
The small version, La Cestita, can house an opal-shaped globe and a white plastic one (that is more child resistant). Accordingly, it is offered at a sensibly more affordable price and maintains its firm structural simplicity, ideal for nomadic or child-centred settings.

Restocked - The Pacha - Legendary French designer Pierre Paulin originally designed the Pacha Lounge Chair in 1975. Paulin designed the chair in harmony with the changing design style of its period, replacing the austerity of post-war design with a new, vigorous approach.Paulin managed to give a real elegance to the rounded forms of the Pacha Lounge Chair by finding the perfect proportions, raising it lightly on its base and tracing in the foam and upholstery with stitching lines inclined inwards. Through pieces like the Pacha Lounge Chair, Pierre Paulin pioneered low-level living; a modern way of living and sitting on the floor, by getting rid of chair legs.With comfort as the constant starting-point in his designs, the curvaceous, whimsical and organic shapes of the Pacha Chair are conceived to serve the body, providing both comfort and cosiness. JUST RESTOCKED - OMERSA - Dimitri Omersa und seine Frau Inge kamen 1955 nach England und ließen sich in Lavender Croft, einem Heim für Flüchtlinge in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, nieder.

Der gebürtige Jugoslawe Dimitri Omersa war Marineoffizier und ein politischer Gefangener, der nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg 10 Jahre lang von Tito inhaftiert worden war.

Dimitri Omersa fand Arbeit im Lederhandel und lernte bei der Vertretung eines kleinen Lederunternehmens in Hitchin "Old Bill" bei Liberty kennen. Old Bill" sollte in den Ruhestand gehen, und es wurde eine Vereinbarung getroffen, dass Dimitri Omersa das Geschäft übernehmen und die Lieferung von Schweinen an Liberty's fortsetzen sollte. Der Markenname Omersa wurde zu diesem Zeitpunkt eingeführt. Das Geschäft wurde 1958 nach Hitchin verlegt, und schon bald hatte Dimitri Omersa Ideen für weitere Tiere.

Sein erstes neues Stück war ein Elefant, gefolgt von einem Esel und einem Nashorn. Liberty's stand dem Nashorn zunächst skeptisch gegenüber, aber es wurde ein "Bestseller" und bildete später das Omersa-Logo. Im Vereinigten Königreich wurden die Tiere bis Mitte der 1970er Jahre ausschließlich für Libertys hergestellt. In dieser Zeit sind Tiere mit der Prägung LIBERTYS OF LONDON auf einem Ohr zu finden.

The meeting point of the two shells, as well as the junction between the wood and the upholstery, underline the craftsmanship that has gone into the chair, as well as emphasizing its precise detailing and graceful form. Ultrafragola mirror/lamp, with its sinuous profile that suggests long wavy hair, belongs to the Mobili Grigi series of complete bedroom and living room furnishings designed by Ettore Sottsass for Poltronova and presented at the third edition of Eurodomus in 1970. With the exception of Ultrafragola, the models never got beyond the prototype phase. #8008

The handpainted Girl Mushroom from Astier de Villatte is a testament to the Parisian brand’s spiritual ethos and fascination with folk art and abandoned objects.

Votary of pre-industrial fabrication, Astier de Villatte is celebrated for being the one and only studio in Paris to hold and harbour the traditions of artisanal ceramic production. Restoring the ancestral systems of moulding and stamping, the incense pot is made using techniques from the Middle Ages which involve moulding a sheet of handmade clay, double firing the ‘biscuit’ piece and glazing the product in white enamel – a lengthy process that requires a drying time of up to one month. Characterised by a chunky cylindrical silhouette and exposed clay, the incense pot is engraved with the brand’s signature crest - depicting an interlacing A & V - alongside the initials of one of the 40 master artisans who created it.
