Wystube Isebähnli is located on the premises of a more than 200-year-old wine tavern in Zurich's Old Town. In 2008, it was acquired by Yücel Ersan and transformed into a high-quality restaurant of the same name. Today, artists, intellectuals, politicians and businesspeople make up an eclectic clientele that adds to the establishment's unique, international and stimulating yet pleasantly cosy atmosphere.

The ever-growing selection is spectacular not only by Zurich standards, but also by worldwide standards. Wishes are rarely left unfulfilled with the treasures in the cellar, yet Yücel Ersan also searches for very specific rarities on the secondary market at the request of guests.

2013 Accendo Cabernet Sauvignon
Bart and Daphne Araujo started biodynamic farming back in the early 1990s, at Eisele Vineyard, to pay respect to nature.
In 2013, the family founded the Accendo Cellars winery with a strong team, marking the beginning of a promising new paradigm. The wines are very concentrated and powerful with a long finish. On the nose, one finds earthy aromas with notes of exotic spices, white flowers, lavender, as well as subtle ethereal scents. Black cherry, red liquorice, raspberries and cranberries provide an explosion of flavours on the palate.

- The winery was created in a collective effort by Robert Mondavi (Robert Mondavi Winery, California) and Baron Philippe de Rotschild (Chateau Mouton-Rotschild, Bordeaux). Their common goal is to produce a high-quality and Bordeaux-typical wine in Napa Valley. Today, Opus One is considered by experts to be one of the most expensive and highest-rated red wines in California. In 1979, Mondavi & Rotschild presented their first vintage of Opus One. The grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec are among the main players and are composed together from year to year as required. The wine is aged 100% in barriques made of new French oak. The duration of barrel ageing is between 15 and 25 months.
The wines show an exceptional complexity, velvety tannins and a high concentrated aroma of dark fruits and hints of spices.
The balanced acidity and the richly structured ageing ensure a long-lasting finish.

2013 BOND QUELLA
-The owner of Harlan Estate Winery, William Harlan, established his second winery in 1997. BOND, a small estate with a portfolio of "Grand Cru" quality wines, all under one philosophy and team.
Only Cabernet Sauvignon is planted, from five "Grand Cru" sites ranging in size from 7 to 11 hectares. The Bond wines are produced from hillside sites with different conditions and focus on representing the terroir characteristics in a unique way.
They are among the most sought-after wines from Napa Valley.
Vinified using only the best available fruit from each of the quality-driven vineyards, the wines are under the management
of winemaker Bob Levy and
the Harlan team.
QUELLA, 9 ha
The Quella site is located on a raised riverbed, in the eastern hills of Napa Valley. It features lots of alluvial gravel as well as a mix of white volcanic ash with reddish soils. The wines present with an earthy note on the nose, so to speak (a dustiness). Hints of dried herbs and mint, with more dark than red fruits and a spicy minerality. The finish is intense and complex. First vintage 2006.
Harlan Estate 2012 l 2013 l 2014
- In 1984, Harlan Estate was founded by H. William Harlan in the western Oakville AVA, in the heart of the Napa Valley. It is a 97-acre property, a wooded area with steep slopes, multiple elevations and sites. Currently, about 19 hectares have been planted to vines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. A typical Californian winery that produces Bordeaux-style blends.
His top wine "Harlan Estate" is one of the most sought-after Californian wines on the market today. In addition to the Estate wine, the second selection "The Maiden" is also produced. The wines mature for 18 months in 100% new French oak barriques. They have pleasant noble wood spice and structure, have spicy and savoury notes, are silky and elegant. They are aromatic with dark berry fruit flavours, show a discreet extract sweetness and are mineral well-facetted. They have great freshness and elegance as well as an enormously long finish, which is why the wines can be drunk young but also have a long ageing potential.
