I’m thrilled to have joined the American National Speakers Association as a Professional member, and today’s meeting was nothing short of a blast. Lauren Schieffer shared her insights on "Nine Essentials to Growing and Strengthening Your Speaker's Business," and I can confidently say this session was career-changing for me.

In the coming days, I look forward to learning from my fellow members and sharing experiences as we work together to uphold and strengthen our Association. It's essential that we create an environment that empowers the next generation of speakers to build on the legacy we’re establishing.

I have a dream that public speaking will become a subject taught in elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools across America.

Some countries in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe will embrace this vision and make significant strides in implementing it faster than ever.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Humphrey. His talent and passion as a journalist and speaker left a profound impact not only on the Cameroonian community but also on all of us within the emergent speakers' landscape.

I have immense respect for the works of Stephen Elangwe, and upon reading his recent posts on Facebook, I learned that he and Humphrey were very good friends. Stephen has consistently honored Humphrey’s contributions, highlighting this great speaker multiple times.

As I reflect on Humphrey's remarkable work in journalism and as a speaker, I am reminded of his influence on many emerging voices in our community. He was a shining example of what it means to inspire and uplift through words. I find it essential to join Stephen and others as we mourn this fallen champion of our cause.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you navigate this profound loss.
